What I was thinking reading this ...Tom Wilkinson told Sky News: 'We are hoping that the drug will increase the rate of recovery from infection, that it will increase the protection in the bit of the lungs that are not infected yet and will reduce the number of patients that decline significantly and require intubation and ventilation.'Is that SNG001 could be used to prevent the virus getting into your system full stop.

Yeah absolutely Nobby and for anyone else I wasn’t stating my average to rub people’s faces in it (I have been burnt enough myself recently by placings at prices lower than my average!!).

I will be taking some out pre result and not going all in for the ‘successful trial RNS’ - again learnt the hard way on other shares, so remind me not to be greedy when we get closer to that time!

Question Nobby, so will we expect next significant RNS to be them announcing the trials have finished in circa 2 weeks and then the next RNS after that likely to be end of May with results?

Dosing patients at high risk prophylactically or certainly on the sign of first symptoms is a distinct possibility and would greatly increase the potential market.

Yes to some degree one's opinion of the fund raising depends on your buying price. My avaerage of about 20p means the 35p price appears quite reasonable. Those who bought in the 50s or even 60s are likely to be a little disgruntled. I can't say I blame them but ultimately we will all see that it was a good thing!

My immediate thoughts on the placing were on the price (could have been worse) and level of dilution (25% so again could have been worse). I would have preferred a government grant but despite what the Government have been saying that may not have been forthcoming in a short enough timeframe for whatever reason.
If this trial is successful the placing will be of little concern.

Of course there is a chance of that so consequently it would be very sensible to take some money off the table before the result. A lot of the IMM 'investors' were greedy and ended up getting stuffed! The beauty here is we have a short well defined timeframe to make decisions.

I would just like to point out again that I posted about the possibility of a fund raising on Monday morning and as usual got some stick for it. However, it was always going to be a strong possibility if they didn't go down the route of signing a deal with a major Pharma. No-one likes to be diluted but it means they retain 100% of the drug through the the end of the trial.

That creates one mega binary event sometime towards the end of May....and the price won't be 40odd pence then! All IMHO of course.....

Well done Nobby, get rid of the time wasters! I thought it was a great RNS and see the raise as a real positive!

Be interesting to see what the share price does now in the coming weeks pre results...may get a chance to sell and buy back lower as the impatient disappear off?

I made a small investment at 25p so very happy so far!
