The potential market is huge and the sky is the limit for this company if the trial is successful, although may take a while longer than we all would like.

Apparently that is what the company has been suggesting as the likely price....

Don't forget this is a protein drug so is quite expensive to manufacture. It's not like making aspirin...

Nobby

If I may say the idea of £1000 a dose is quite frankly absolute bolox (as opposed to botox)

There is no way that the company would wish to profiteer (as opposed to make a profit) and the price will be determines by the PPRS in the UK

So one positive aspect to the fund raise is if the trial turns out to be negative. In that circumstance the company will be well funded so the downside will not be as bad as it would have been.

And the other thought now they have secured 100% ownership of the drug by this fund raising, this has become an even bigger binary bet. I have seen a few big ones in the past (IMM for example) but this is just going to be massive. I have heard it mentioned that this will cost £1000 a dose and could be used prophylactically as well as a treatment. Just think of that absolutely massive market. I was thinking maybe £500 million post a positive result but now I am thinking more like £1 billion or about £7.50 a share after the dilution. No I am not joking....

Drug does already work on viruses and Covid support are saying early success for inhalation treatment. SNG001 is the only nebuliser treatment

That comment relating to an article pre dating the current trial is being purposely misconstrued by pumpers

This is a small raise in the greater scheme of things - the fact that their main investor target is VCT/EIS funds means that they have a minimum three year time horizon of staying independent and so further financing will be a deal with big Pharma on better terms than before.

In reality it is all down to whether or not the drug is effective in Covid-19: because if it is, it will likely work in the next wave or the next Coronovirus which comes along.

The competitive advantege of SNG001 is that if it works, it can be used in the future before vaccines are available.

It’s going to be 2 weeks - 2 months before they are able to start statistically validating the impact of this treatment

It is not related to the current trial which is a double bind and therefore the dispenser does not know . Jeez

We’ve already been clear that the comment relates to an article posted 18th March before the NHS trial started.
