Adman - coronavirus didn’t even exist 9 months ago! If you haven’t noticed the world has all but shut down, there are no treatments and the NHS is using this with patients as we speak

The other problem is survivors walking away with lung damage - this protects the lung tissue by activating antiviral pathways

Hazl- Richard Marsden literally said on Monday it will take 8 weeks to complete the trial and get read outs.

[...]

This is why I'm done with this board. I bought into SNG over 9 months ago and it's been completely derailed in the past few weeks by hyperbole and frankly BS by Jonny Come Latelies.

It's not just the ventilators that they're short of, it's the oxygen too.

'Hospitals could run out of oxygen in ‘hours not days’ as coronavirus spreads, intensive care specialist warns'

Don’t underestimate How much they need to take away the need for ventilators

Politicians are desperate for solutions and with active NHS trials underway with critical condition patients, any positive impact will be shouted from the rooftops

Guys this is SNG discussion. The only place to be for obvious reasons - biggest no brainer on the market at the moment

Why did they take my 20k buy down? Sowed briefly at the wrong price.

The odd one out atm, Nobby, is TILS. Maybe its the ridiculous spread that puts folk off. Its more of a medium to long term for me.
Best in class IL6R/IL6 blocking MoAb. Will get big exposure in CAR-T therapy as well.

Another company about to take off IMHO is TLY. They provide various services for the NHS including 111 services. Their business has not been negatively affected by the crisis and if anything they will pick up business yet the price is down 40%. Plus they are recession proof because healthcare will go on regardless and the NHS are a reliable payer. Take a look...

Likya, here are a few ideas (that you used unsuccessfully on TERN) to ramp the price here:- start a new hashtag like #manypoundsnotpence- lie that you have spoken to the big holders or the company and that something amazing will be announced soon- used stupid expressions like long and strong and book your ticket for moon and Mars. You get the idea.

Hazl, there have been several big sells since the 20th, I think he’s still selling or is out - most likely due to the carnage in the rest of his portfolio IMO.

Never a bad time to take a profit. Don't know why everyone is stressing about it as it means nothing in the greater scheme of things.

What's more interesting is who bought the shares....

My guess is AstraZeneca!

Tick tock..

I think it was very canny of him actually.
Let's face it if anyone came on and said they had 8% we would be pleased....he has over 8% still.
Shrewd,in my opinion.

Given the urgency of the situation they won’t be hanging around. On the radar of WHO too.

During the study, patients at the University Hospital Southampton and up to 10 other National Health Service (NHS) hospitals will receive the best current COVID-19 care while inhaling either SNG001 or a placebo over 14 days.

They stated that positive initial results from the 100 patient pilot phase could see the trial expanded to more hospitals.

Anyway doesn’t change what the company is doing, can only imagine what will happen to price if they announce additional patients in the trial
