I wouldn’t be surprised to see an upgrade later on -the numbers are low ball for obvious reasons

Yes the Torotrak comparison is nonsense. They had very little of the way in orders. It had very little commercial success. I think we can safely ignore that post. Sce has huge orders but has struggled to meet demand. We are told though that teething troubles are behind us and production has ramped up. I would imagine they have already done 4k this quarter and another 6k in Q4.

bones, I don’t think the Torotrack comparison is fair or appropriate. I don’t recall them ever having the order book and level of commitment from OEM’s as SCE. Still you managed to make me feel ill there for a moment!

£30m is absolutely doable-without new contracts.I’m very confident

Will send a note when I meet the team Friday

I'll elieve revenue if 30m next year when I see it tbh the 15% increase in revenue this period is more like what I've come to expect here but seems some and the company are expecting a near 800x rise in revenue very soon . Like I said i will believe that when I see it thanks .

This has a hint of torotrak to me about it with the OEM and orders that didn't materialise . I hope this is different as I have followed this for over a decade too but until I see those revenue figures ramping up a lot faster I'll stay on the sidelines

From the zeus note "We understand management are considering new sources of finance, should this be required".
Understandably as cash forecast is £1.6m at end of 2024 so they'll be sailing close to the wind for more than a year.

Some nice day trade profits but (imo) potentially much higher gains if held.

I wanted to trade some this morning but thought I had too many already to risk further increasing my holding.. Glad it has reversed so strongly though...

Year end cash has been projected at 3.4, then 2.5 and now 1.4m (edit - 1.4m is Cavendish estimate; just seen the zeus note and theirs is £1.5m) in less than 2 months. Hopefully the new CFO will sort this out as I like the tech but worry about their cash situation. Instead of keep saying "£1m below previous estimates", why not just give their latest estimate?

Yes Bundred is increasingly s/o who imho is in danger of proving to be a hindrance rather than an asset to progress here.....

I in just went to the end and it’s £1.4m-though I do believe the turnover numbers are underplayed-something I would advise any company as I don’t like bad surprises

You need to be Sherlock Holmes to work out the finances.

In the trading update of 31st July, Bundred said "gross cash at 31 December 2023 is now expected to be no worse than £1m lower than previous estimates".

Somewhat opaque, but quemaster neatly tidied it up in post 7751 "The Zeus note yesterday shows year end cash of £2.5m previously £3.4m" (ie. no worse than £1m below previous estimates).

Today Bundred said "Accordingly, year-end cash is expected to be within £1m of previous management estimates" (note similar wording to the trading update)

However pinkfoot2 in post 7873 kindly reports the projected year end gross cash at £1.4m.

In summary, it looks like Bundred has tried to play clever using the same language while referring to two different estimates without clarifying that. The forecast year end cash position is therefore £1m worse than I expected from the trading update.

Totally agree with you on
1. Risk of PE or an auto parts outfit taking a potshot
2. I think COO could prove more influential than CFO - lets hope he proves worthy of a board position in time
3. They need better lawyers for their contractual negotiations if we can read commentary on social media about whose brands are fitting their discs!

I've just added another 10k's worth. This is a good a price now that a lot of the growing pains are done.

My only real concern is how future expansion is funded. It might be hard for the board to give up on the equity raise model when it's been their go to for so long.

Geko

I have worked in supply chain companies and I can tell you now OEMs don’t like to see their brands being used to promote suppliers until they are entirely comfortable. It will come

Todays RNS is positive for me-and as I said before I don’t get emotionally attached to shares or money

GekoStrade, my reference to spooked referred to today. The H1 results were well known, and the Update is positive and we're half way through H2.
