Sam's bogged off to the CTM board - same story there - over 60p today, mind you he is probably right.

Some more chunky trades (2 x 2.3m), and the buy side getting very strong - 368k vs 35k on the strip at 50.5p/50.75p at present.

Hi DD, yes a fair old volume on Friday. There's certainly some very 'odd' trading going on. Not the sort of thing we've seen for a while ;-)

Could get interesting.

FO,

LOL - some of us are still here.

That volume spike on Friday (33.112mm), must say took me by surprise.

53.5 - 54.0 appear to be now very significant levels to overcome.

Ah, Mr 22,500 is back with orders on both sides of the book.

Someone is happliy mopping up all that he can in 25,000 chunks at 52.25p. As soon the buy side is filled, another 25k is placed - who knows how deep his pockets are!

PS. This has been the modus operandum for some time and consequently all his buys show up as sells in 'conventional' terms.

If we take out the SRF (Spirent Randomicity Factor)and look at the trend lines we should see the 56p mark by mid Feb - but we all know that the SRF has a huge +/- effect on this stock.

Morning all. Sorry chaps I wasn't watching too closely yesterday, although I did notice several of the tell-tale orders of 22,500 on both sides of the book!

Well, no news yet so SAM's "60p this week" is not looking likely, but I could yet eat my words - and would be very happy to do so. ;-)

ever since the low forties this has shown a tendency to climb and fall back then climb a bit more...i agree we will see 56p again soon, and then, only SAM knows.

FourOaks - Are the bots out today ? Agree with you that we are seeing the price controlled by a big buyer. Have you any further thoughts ? My feeling is that we could see 56p fairly shortly, but think we will only see Sam's 80p if a preditor should emerge.

OK SAM I give in, what is it exactly that's going to happen to make spt go to 80+ any day now...........?

Doesn't look awfully good on Level 2, but then since when has SPT looked good on Level 2? ;-)

I do actually still believe that there are moves afoot pushing the price down for someone to hoover up shares as cheaply as possible, but time alone will tell us whether SAM has some useful information, or is simply the worst kind of ramper.

SAM79, you're not Graeme Souness are you, cos he only has anything to say when the Toon win, sends his mates out to face the press when we lose. You just seem a bit quiet when SPT has a down day. ;-)

Believe it or not, according to my charts looks quite good at the moment.

Should make a solid attempt on the 53.5 - 54.0 range this week, but needs the reasonable size of volumes such as today (i.e. 5mm +) for it be sustained.
