09/1/2006 13:57 | Get in before the rocket takes off all the way to well above 80p | sam79
09/1/2006 11:13 | Keep your eyes and ears wide OPEN, we are waiting for some significant News to come out very soon to take SPT to well above 80p. | sam79
09/1/2006 09:08 | The 'Expert'... The spread is currently wide as is often the case with SPT early in the day before orders start to build. 52.71 is a likely quote price to buy, which is just under the offer price of 52.75. Yes the 'current' price is 50.25 because that was the price of the last AT trade. | fouroaks
09/1/2006 08:55 | Did a dummy buy on line - spread 51-52.75, offered 52.71, share price graph above shows price of 50.25 - bit weird, and quite a wide spread, or is it just me? | the expert
09/1/2006 08:48 | It will and should "both", how about that:) | sam79
09/1/2006 08:41 | Is that "should" or "will" ;-) | andaleg

29/12/2005 09:22 | Balance of the first order just been removed and replaced with one for 14,037 - which they didn't have to do if they were trying to up the price. I think they must be reading my commentry - the second order (14,073) has been deleted and replaced with one for 14,037 just to confuse me ;-) | fouroaks
29/12/2005 09:17 | cover - could all be part of the conspiracy... FourOaks - 22 Dec'05 - 08:57 - 161 of 197 edit How is it, I wonder, that the Deutsche Bank rating (52p) warrants an AFX, whereas the JP Morgan (58p) and Lehman Bros. (59p) ratings didn't? Is someone trying to depress the price, while they stock up? Certainly the L2 activity is looking that way. Perhaps I'm just cynical ;-) | fouroaks
29/12/2005 09:14 | Hmm, interesting - the first order has been partially filled (by the 5634 trade) and the balance of that and the other 14,073 order are still sitting there and have been for a while. There is just 13,200 on offer at 49.75p (but 75,555 at 50p), so if they are trying to push the price up, and are prepared to sacrifice chunks of shares in the 28k region, they would probably take out the 49.75p. So, my conclusion at present is that they are buying - but don't take my word for it! All IMHO etc... | fouroaks
29/12/2005 08:59 | The bots are at work again, but I'm not yet sure whether they are trying to buy up shares as cheaply as possible, or walk the price up so that they can then sell into the rising price. Two orders each slightly over 14,000 shares are being added just above the bid price. If they are partially filled, the balance is immediately removed and the orders are then added again after a few minutes pause. Yesterday, we also had orders of exactly 22,500 shares being added to both sides of the book repeatedly, but I wasn't watching closely enough to see if either was moved out of the way if it got to the touch. | fouroaks |
