15/12/2005 09:02 | 288 million and only 50 million for us great | tetris10
14/12/2005 14:51 | abcd1234...You have a very valid point cause if it was 20 mill, where do you put your hands on 2% of spt. Another possibility could be an arranged sale within the same company but into another pot if you know what I mean. I also think, as FourOaks said, fid had been buying for days prior to it's rns. Very simply an rns is required to clarify. But be sure this level of activity is not happening for no reason. Something must be on the cards. | pdriccio
14/12/2005 14:39 | Hmm, interesting PDR, but if so who is unloading such large quantities to them?? | abcd1234
14/12/2005 14:32 | Cheers FourOaks. Looks like someone is stake building imo. | pdriccio
14/12/2005 13:53 | original birdman You've got it "hole in one". | sam79
14/12/2005 13:36 | PDR - re the RNS they have (IIRC) up to three days to release a holdings RNS so could be Fid, or anyone else! If there is no RNS then it is a new holder (below 3%). By the way, the two 10m 'X' trades could have been the same shares (ie only 10m not 20m) since they could have gone through two brokers to get to their destination - just a thought. | fouroaks
14/12/2005 13:25 | Sam...whacky or what! | pdriccio
14/12/2005 12:43 | Will be happier when SPT goes to well over 80p soon........... P.S SPT was over 800p per share at one time! We might get there sometime, have a grip on yourself man!!!!! You will never smell it again not even @ 50p from here onward, do you get my drift? | sam79
14/12/2005 12:40 | remember ,,,,,,we do love spirent ,,,,i was happier when i got em @ 10p though | thegrip1
14/12/2005 12:19 | If its agilent then we could see and rns @2.30 if its venture capitalists it could drag on for weeks | tetris10
14/12/2005 12:18 | The Knife.....Whats your thoughts? | pdriccio
14/12/2005 12:16 | all we need is an rns about possible offer! | unknown trader
14/12/2005 12:07 | The fire works hasn't even started yet................. 80p here we come. | sam79

14/12/2005 10:52 | Does anybody know who bought the 2 x 10 mill yesterday? As fid's rns i would have thought would relate to previous trades. Maybe agilent/someone are stake building? Dont know. Anybody? | pdriccio
14/12/2005 10:37 | only if there is a bidding war i feel....unless you have some inside info sam? | unknown trader
14/12/2005 10:06 | FourOaks No probs, all you have to do is "keep your eyes and ears wide open", God knows how many times I had to say it for the last few days. As you can see and hear Daily mail today's article is just the beginning of the great news we are all waiting for or to hear rather. 80p is a very conservative price for SPT, trust me. | sam79
14/12/2005 10:03 | L2 currently 1.2m vs 420k overall with 635k vs 122k on the strip @ 49.75p/50p. | fouroaks
14/12/2005 10:00 | Sam - I was just wondering whether or not you had done some maths or TA and arrived at the 80p. No criticism, just interest. | fouroaks |
