17/10/2024 07:25 | As i understood it, Sirius,s agreement was based on drilling new wells, when that was delayed guarantee attempted to reopen a well that sirius had recommended against. .we had no stake in the well GP drilled. That said, i now question whether sirius ever really intended to drill ororo, with GP anyway. | bestdeal1
15/10/2024 22:39 | So what you may be suggesting is that for each member of the Angola J/V, to have access to they own percentage of the off-take, would require each to make they own separate finance arrangements. Therefore as far as we know, Trafigura are only funding Tende's share of the deal.? ....not the whole consortium?. (ps...J/V's have never gone down well with this lot...they struggled to get along with their Ororo partners....to mention just one.) I believe they treat their J/V partners with the same contempt that they treat their shareholders... I've always wondered why did Guarantee Petroleum, our J/V partner (at the time), go ahead and (attempt) to drill Ororo..without Sirius Petroleum involvement?. Would Sirius still have 'walked away' from Ororo had Guarantee Petroleum been successful and pumping out oil at 6,000 barrels a day? | htrocka2
15/10/2024 18:27 | Etu`s block 14 acquisition was funded by a private equity group. Will be interesting to see if PAC Capital is the backer of the 18/31 deal, or even part of the consortium. Nigeria-based, hmm. Uses subsidiaries eg "Tergo Energy is a subsidiary of PanAfrican Capital Holdings Limited that is committed to the utilization of natural gas and renewable energy." | dr rosso

15/10/2024 15:58 | ''Ht thanks for updating on what Bite the bullet"means.' Bron...Until we get an update from the bod confirming the successful completion of the Angola deal, I'm 'erring on the side of caution'......We've had too many disappointments with this company.....It's becoming a regular event. You're now one of the last of the few optimists left on this thread...I like your spirit.....keep it it up. | htrocka2

15/10/2024 09:59 | ref Angola 'The Consortium paid a deposit of US$18.525m in June 2023, representing 5% of the total consideration and expects that the balance payable for the proposed acquisition will be financed through the provision of new debt facilities.' The deposit's been paid.....what about the rest of it?. They threw in the caveat... 'expects'....and that's as far as we've got...(.....where is the rest of it?) (Examples of caveats include clauses in contracts that limit liability or impose conditions for payment,) I'm having to 'bite the bullet' on this one...and accept that it's not one through. "Bite the bullet" is an informal phrase that means "to do something unpleasant or painful because it is necessary even though you would like to avoid it. | htrocka2
15/10/2024 09:51 | You losers still here bleating about this! | bill williamson
14/10/2024 21:35 | I email most weeks without response, I suggest the only way to even try and apply any pressure or even get some info is to ring up! I rang on Friday and they said someone would get back to me quickly.... Hahaha likely story, I will ring again and again every other week until someone responds I strongly suggest everyone else does as well, the mass email got a response so let's up the anti and start ringing 020-3967-4500. Remember to let everyone here know what they say | helix_22
14/10/2024 20:22 | Last time any tried that they told us there would be an Update within a month. They clearly lied then, so their credability is zero with me | bestdeal1
14/10/2024 18:36 | Has Any one emailed Tende recently and asked WTF is happening | elliotset
14/10/2024 17:17 | The bigger picture is all about the Global Energy Transition. Afentra has led the way for the West Africa version, being transparent in the process as to its intentions and achievements. Less obvious is who is backing the Company. Afentra is merely the tip of this new iceberg. There is a mammoth shift towards net zero and various other O&G eco goals. Just stop oil is not part of the equation tho there is increasing focus on renewables which, rather bending the rules, includes natural gas. A little research reveals the preponderance of a new type of investor in these latest projects. These are the giant private equity investment corporations, funded by mega-bond issues. Unitholders and shareholders alike, these are dictating progress from the higher echelons in Dubai, Houston. EIG Global Partners is but one of many. It is also happening lower down the scale eg Serinus/Xtellus Capital Partners Inc. Almost certainly imo, at least one of these mega-funds has been operating behind the scenes of Tende Energy, reducing our BoD to silent puppets up front as the package of assets is built up, along with their hidden and increasing stake in Tende itself. At some point they must reveal themselves. In time to reject the Turkey Twizzlers? | dr rosso
14/10/2024 17:14 | That’s absolutely fine Bron and no criticism from me for holding any particular views. I happen to believe that there is no-one looking to buy out Tende, but there’s nothing wrong in people having different views. | vatnabrekk
14/10/2024 16:49 | Folks .it doesnt matter to me what anyone thinks .ive done my research over the years and im comfortable with a group moving in.There are any of number of reasons why its taking so long. There are no other theories on here other than we are going to relist.4 years the board has been bleating that message and still no listing.Sounds to me like they havent got a clue which suggedtd they are not controlling Tende. Its clear somebody else is directing things under the stewardship of hough and mcmurtie..Angola is done and the Angolans probably capped accruals at 200 million.Failing that you might as well forget about Angola as that deal wouldnt have took this long...Its all waiting on the invoming group and the legal teams. In my opinion. | bronislav
14/10/2024 16:43 | That’s terrible! | vatnabrekk
14/10/2024 15:39 | No winter fuel allowance and i am sleeping with my frigid wife! | oliversanvil
