Look out for an announcement from ETU. If anything has been signed off that is most likely where the initial announcement will come from.

Nothings changed.we are exactly where we were before the rumours of our board flying out to Angola for the conference.Rumour fuelling expectation.They may well have been there and signed things off.That doesnt mean it has to be annouced straight away.It will come out of the blue in my view.

I doubt the Tende board are doing the bartering.Just faces to keep everything under wraps..It cant be anything else.Well paid and rewarded with free shares.When you listen to the podcast they did a few years ago and the AGM audio they sound like amateurs, i doubt anyone would trust them to arrange deals etc but i suspect they have to be the ones signing as they represent the company along with attend AGM,s etc.

The Nigerian partner, Petrolog, failed to hand over the deposit, so Mulanga stepped in on behalf of Namcor to rescue the deal. There was some doubt about him being authorised to act.Wrt Tende, their $18m deposit was supposedly paid in June 2023. The timing of this handover suggests that the money came in from Petropolymer Int. Which looks like an upfront offtake for refined product which is coming out of the Dangote plant complex.18/31 looks as lucrative as Sungara's stake in Block 15/06, both deals worth net 10k bopd. Even Tende can't fuk this one up? Surely.

Rpat, I am guessing here and especially without my notes to hand. Think we were signed off/done with our element of the blocks, last year. I think the hold up for ‘finalisation’ on completed block ownership (splits) was due to Namcor and Imma Mulanga (think that’s how you spell it). FTR courts (‘Judge’) found him not guilty!

35% of Block 27 farmed out to Sungara, done acc to legal decree publicly announced a few days ago.So where's the 25% that Sonangol agreed to divest to Tende back in May 2022 for just $0.5m?

Rpat.my theory is it was signed off a while ago and a larger group is stepping in and it wont be announced uuntil that is safely over the line.It would have to be a significant group for the Angolans to play ball and maybe accruals wwre capped by the Angolans so they didnt lose out by hsving to wait.

If I'm reading the posts correctly then sonagals interest in 15/06 which is comparable to ours in terms of farm in to government assets with our partner Etu Sonagols was announced in 2022 as I understand it so if this has been completed what is the excuse now for tende /etu on our blocks ?
