Just for clarification this morning's Times(a respected london newspaper)reports that SXX have signed a "preliminary agreement to lease part of the ...site formerly owned by SSI steel industries UK"
I think JW is a little premature with his post 32558.
The site lies 4k downriver from the proposed SXX loading dock and is 4,500 acres in toatl (cf the existing SXX site of 90 acres)
IF!!! the new site is being considered to replace the existing proposed site as the location of the material handling and loading facility then a number of issues arise and some major opportunities.Obviously the existing tunnel is planned to emerge at site A and an amended tunnel route while no longer, would require test bores etc etc The new site would eliminate the need for a conveyor to cross a public highway and would reduce the distance for the finished material to reach the loading dock(around 1.5/2k for site A)The new site allows a much larger area for storage and would facilitate stockpiling and finished goods management and is adjacent to existing bulk handling facilities.
A very significant opportunity and I trust those of you going to the AGM will pursue the implications vigorously!!

Don't really think there is any need to be panicking here. Little drops just get the volume up (as everyone loves a bargain don't they?). Institutions were picking up volume at 29p so think possible downside quite limited now.

Pity the posting game is not played on a level playing field. That though is the fault of ADVFN, not posters.

Blue posters can post what they like and are immune from moderation by the thread author, giving the impression that what they post is correct.

ADVFN do need to correct this, it makes posting, pointless should a black poster have a contrarian view. The most ridiculous aspect of this happens to be that here on sxx is a poster with his own thread that utterly dominates another posters thread on the same subject, whilst banning virtually everyone from his own thread. A very childish situation.

But that is rather like most of that posters comments and links. Mr Oz rightly gets as exasperated as the posters, but ADVFN keep his hands firmly tied, therefore johnnotverywise is free to cause havoc. The only choice is, FILTER HIM/HER/IT.

Apologies for my part in the charade.

Back to sxx, on 11mm volume on fri I noted around 500k CB associated sells. Less that could reasonably be expected, so if I were to guess I'd still think the next move anticipated is up. 38p by AGM is still my guess.
