11/5/2018 12:12 | To be honest, though it seemed a natural high 35p.......I am fed up of going in and out and paying commissions so I think I will sit it out. The share price has an upwards trajectory so see how it goes. | hazl

11/5/2018 11:23 | Morning all! Wow isn't this all terribly exciting! Haha! Hope the traders are making out like banditos and good luck to everyone buying or selling. A couple of points if I may - not advice one way or the other (as I don't know what is going to happen) just observations: 1. NMRN, yes it's just shy of 10% most days attributable to CB holders. They have instructions set up to sell at the VWAP (hasn't anyone else noticed the UT trades after close dictate our closing price?) Usually around the 8-9% mark though it might be a little higher today. Some clients I'm sure are lifting bids during the day but I'd personally expect most of the volume to be the post close figures. 2. Whilst trading on the lit exchanges has been going up, the dark volume has also been rising nicely. NEX already traded 5mm today so it's not just the numbers you see that are going through. 3. Remember Staley's goal for the year. He needs to increase institutional ownership - this means that Pls proportion of ownership needs to fall so expect the unexpected. He's obviously been at conferences this week from the look of Twitter so he's working on this actively, and I'd personally expect this to continue. Choppy trading is to be expected. 4. I don't personally believe that a comparison with our share price last year is an apples to apples comparison. When we were at 35p last year there were still over a billion shares for our CB holders to work through. Not this time. 5. Short interest seems to have a lag of nearly a month, so what we observe today isn't a reflection of where our CB holders currently are positioned. Interesting times, as I say I have no idea what our share price is going to do day to day but it sure is getting interesting! | ppvn

11/5/2018 11:11 | Marke87, When they first started converting they were announced individually but when this became a regular occurrence Sirius blocklisted 300m shares and have been taking them off this number ever since. That was in January and we think that figure has been exhausted now so we are waiting for another blocklisting RNS any time soon. NMRN | not my real name

11/5/2018 10:53 | Marke87, The CB holders want to get the highest price possible so don't want to affect the share price by dumping all at the same time. They will dribble them into the market in addition to the normal buys/sells. I think PPVN calculated around 10% of daily volume is a good average. We need increased volume (around the 100m a day mark) for a while, a large buyer (the phantom Chinaman) or an enhanced offer to convert (the last one got rid of 211m shares)rather than just relying on average daily volume of 20m. If none of the above come about we are probably looking at 6 months before they are all gone but everyone here is hopeful that TORP news followed by Stage 2 finance news will wipe them out fairly quickly. 11/5/2018 10:36 | Hi NNRN,Does that mean we need around 400m buys to get rid of the CB? | marke87
11/5/2018 10:35 | Repeating resistance spikes. Hitting that 35p point and triggering some sells that avalanche. I fear we're going to track back down to the high 20's. Hopefully I'm wrong. | bus_ter
11/5/2018 10:28 | I am already over the top on SXX and so for bit of a sideline have dipped into SO4 . Cashflow is earlier than Sirius by producing quality SOP backed by an early MOU with Mitsubishi.Like Sirius they have a product which is cheapest cost in its field. | aspex
11/5/2018 10:23 | Looks like we are in a new trading range now. I keep a core holding but do trade upto 20% of my holding. I’ll wait for the rsi to reduce quite a bit before I put some/all of my 20% back in | noramping

11/5/2018 10:00 | Morning all, Re last nights conversation around the fall in shorts. They fell from 4.79% to 3.62% which is 1.17%. At the same time Marshall Wace reduced to .47% and Numerice Investors to .49%. As they are below the 0.5% threshhold they are not tracked at all now. This accounts for most of the fall (.96%) The rest is probably attributable to holders who were already below the .5% mark. Yesterdays share price pull-back and todays fall are, strangely enough, not a bad thing. Simply means more CB holders are selling which is exactly what we want. Rough calculations are that around 400m more shares need to be shorted before we are free of the CBs. As previously discussed, this should keep the share price in check for some time yet.
