04/5/2018 18:58 | Hi CHF, no problem at all. As you can see, it's a bit of a guessing game (we have to guess at what price the funds will sell, how much finance costs are on their shorts, CB coupon values etc) which is why it's an inexact science. But hopefully it can be seen, from the data we currently have available, there isn't that much longer to wait. Eurofox, lol. I genuinely thought it was an autobot posting old stories until very recently. | ppvn

04/5/2018 18:35 | Johnwise, Why are you such an objectionable person? | eurofox
04/5/2018 18:04 | Hey CHF, no. A CB strategy is: 1. Buy CBs 2. Sell corresponding shares as a hedge (thus building short interest in issue) 3. Convert CBs into shares 4. Return borrowed shares from short sell using converted bond outturn 5. Continue until all CBs converted. We are in the latter half of stage 5 I believe so as I was saying earlier, it's not going to be too much longer. Because a significant number of bonds already gone and established shorts remain, the price that CB holders are prepared to sell at is increasing, hence our share price is going up. Once all CBs gone hopefully it can be seen that a large element of the downward pressure on our shareprice will disappear. Hence I expect a large uptick in our share price once that happens. | ppvn

04/5/2018 17:55 | Hi PPVN Sorry. Are you saying 'when bonds converted the number of shares go up so, as a percentage, shorts go down? | coolhandfluke
04/5/2018 17:10 | Chf, the shorts could be unrelated but every time bonds converted the numbers go quite significantly down, and all declared shorts (barring JPM) have been funds that operate convertible strategies. So it is a guess but I'm personally confident in the guess. Unfortunately our CB holders don't tell us their current positioning so we have to go with the clues they leave in the public domain... | ppvn
04/5/2018 15:45 | Hi PPVN/NMRN Actually I do not understand the correlation between the short shares and the cb's. Why aren't the short shares just borrowed by someone with nothing to do with cb's?Cheers.CHF | coolhandfluke
