Something very deceiving about that photo...as though the cabins are built on an island and the ship is in front of the island...I mean the 1st photo...

Not enough lifeboats and the funnels facing the wrong way.
Back to the drawing board.

I suppose with bookings elsewhere because of brexit and the Thomas Cook troubles,
the timing of all of this is a bit unlucky.

but it is always darkest before the dawn.

Emsüberführung as if from a picture book: Spirit of Discovery reaches Emden
by Tobias Bruns • May 27, 2019

The "Spirit of Discovery" has reached the destination of their first journey. In the morning, the new cruise ship of the Meyer Werft docked in Emden, after passing through the bottleneck on the Ems during the night.

PAPENBURG / Emden. On Sunday evening at 21.30 clock it was at Papenburg rainy weather "Leinen Los" (we reported). With East Frisian sunshine received the ship on Monday morning in the Emden harbor then numerous onlookers. The Spirit of Discovery will remain for a few days until it embarks on sea trials in the North Sea.

It is the first time in more than five years that a new construction of the Meyer shipyard in the East Frisian seaport city applies. The last was next to the research vessel Sun, the AIDAstella, while the big cruise ships set up as the first destination in the Dutch Eemshaven.

The 58,250 GT cruise ship can accommodate 999 passengers. It is the first of two ships that Meyer Werft will build for the English shipping company SAGA Cruises. Meanwhile, the Meyer shipyard is still working on another cruise ship that will be delivered later this year: The Baudock II is the Norwegian Encore under construction, which will be completed in the fall of 2019.

The drop is because the market cap is now below the FTSE350 cut off and shorters are taking full advantage. A forward P/E of below 6 is crazy though.

Still comes down to the high risk strategy of having a couple of cruise ships on order the size of the Titantic and Olympic which are costing more than the half billion Market cap?
The best analogy is your typical investor on here with a net value of a million. Do you then splash out 600 grand each on a couple of top end Rolls Royces for 1.2 million for hire, purchased on credit. The depreciation is eye watering and you jeopardise what capital you had before ordering the toys. If nothing else the balance sheet is incredibly unbalanced.

No way would this order have been placed at a market cap of 0.5 billion.

I would normally say that there is a rights issue coming, but this share has had large gyrations this last 3 weeks, and there has been no news.

Something is not right here?

Down 6.7% to 46p

Someone is driving this down.

This is not normal for this type of share.

Either somebody has a large order in at a low price or there is something known in the pipeline. Good or bad I do not know.

Only ever seen this in a severe bear market,, and we are not in a severe bear market, or any bear market.

Bad news for the P.i
