When a maker has a load in-hand and sees market is an issue, not in their interests to be showing massive sells where avoidable

This would explain desperate attempts for the book showing ‘buys’

It ought to go -7.5% to -10% today just based on current situ with ftse alone

But I doubt that's what distribution was about up higher

Indeed bigger buys getting marked up as it sets sail from “its passing” is a bit dubious to say the least lol

A bit of research implies Airbus still owns 10% of Dassault. Wikipedia mind.

The fund research is serving well gentlemen

Roger does touch on something important imo

When desperate and need to sell off units, competition is only interested in the better parts

Every sell was a weakening

The downsizing was leading to poorer quality

As far as I am aware Airbus dont have a stake in Dassault , but something happened to persuade RR to go away quietly, I was alluding to maybe perhaps possibly someone in Safran used their influence with Airbus?

RogerRail, apologies if I've got this wrong as I filter Vlad (and many others) but you state....... you should do a bit more research.......

I'm unsure if this is aimed at vlad or Institutional I. or me. I have little knowledge of RR other than what I can access online. I might also have this wrong, but I suspect you may have more knowledge of RR and welcome whatever you can impart.

I do recall reading that Airbus had a stake in Dassault but have since disposed of such.

Problem 2. Market doesn’t seem to believe, or care, about IMF outlook.

Probably because they get it wrong most of the time 😂

Research is very time consuming and I can’t move market with any research. Prefer to try see funds research and thinking through the market

Not quite, you should do a bit more research about the Safran Silvercrest engine for the super midsize Falcon 5x. JetRR were initially awarded the contract but were inexplicably dumped because Safran wanted a route into the market for their new engine, some politics going on perhaps with the predominantly French controlled Airbus. That was a shame because that would have provided a RR a platform for a super midsize engine which currently they dont have. Anyway the Silvercrest failed miserably leaving both Dassault and Safran/Snecma with egg on the face, once bitten twice shy.
