22/9/2020 11:55 | Peter's having a nibble then? | ![]() zcaprd7
21/9/2020 10:57 | No, I dumped when I said, thankfully, but still a watching brief... | ![]() zcaprd7
20/9/2020 07:34 | I guess it depends on the rules of the fund they are held in. I doubt the market would have been able to swallow their whole holding in any case. Are you back in or never left? | ![]() konradpuss
20/9/2020 02:09 | Maybe the sale was their response, can they hold unlisted stuff? | ![]() zcaprd7
19/9/2020 20:58 | Not their whole 'wad' mind. Shame the fund manager at Schroders never responded to my email. Still sitting - butt not yet sore! | ![]() konradpuss
18/9/2020 14:46 | Schroders offloading... | ![]() zcaprd7
16/9/2020 10:25 | My main concern here is that a fair amount of the remaining cash will disappear with the trading business when it is sold (especially so if it is sold to existing management as has been suggested as one option in announcements). | ![]() esmith3
16/9/2020 09:43 | You'll have a sore butt from sitting waiting for this one, the tender offer has revealed the management's intention to stitch up shareholders once its private... | ![]() zcaprd7
14/9/2020 20:31 | From a quick read, circa £30k of stock changed hands today. It has generally been my sitting that has made me my money not my doing. Now who said that? It's a punt, however I think it might well eventually come good. | ![]() konradpuss
14/9/2020 13:25 | That is the fear factor, and I'm surprised they have been allowed to get away with it?The current directors can fritter away our cash on their German lifestyle business. | ![]() zcaprd7
14/9/2020 12:53 | Only if you think the company will buy you out eventually. The reason it's dropping is all the people dumping it because they think the shares will be effectively worthless paper after delisting. | ![]() gbjbaanb
14/9/2020 11:29 | Blimey, this is brutal... Definitely an angle of buying back in? | ![]() zcaprd7
11/9/2020 20:58 | Indeed, but I'd rather bail this morning, and buy back on the 28th... | ![]() zcaprd7
11/9/2020 17:51 | zcaprd7, now cheer up. I think we can all make a perfect nuisance of our selves if the cash starts to disappear. Patience here might still provide some good rewards. | ![]() konradpuss
11/9/2020 17:34 | Because it will drift lower, before crashing the day before delisting... No one wants cash tied up in a private entity with zero oversight or control, regardless of the cash, they can fritter it all away! | ![]() zcaprd7
11/9/2020 14:33 | Well the CEO sold half, everyone else sold half, so nothing really changed. But why is the share price down so much this morning then, unless the market is similarly concerned about the delisting. If they spent the relatively few quid to keep their presence for a year, I think the price would now be 55p or more. Losing those ISA accounts will be painful for some. | ![]() gbjbaanb
11/9/2020 10:23 | hi zcaprd7 - thanks for the info. makes sense to me. I am happy following the money for non ISA accounts. Interesting that the CEO would sell half at 55p - so even more so i wonder who else has not tendered? | ![]() thirty fifty twenty
11/9/2020 10:18 | hi Petrus - thank you for pointing out - item 8 in the chairman's letter. i thought i had read it but obviously missed the one liner. that aside, i am interested in your posting history... only 4 posts in 5 years, all on PVCS, the last one 3 years ago. i read that to mean that you are not an average private investor sharing their views on a bulletin board. i would be interested to know about your investing, your holding in PVCS and thoughts on the board - do you think they are self-interested as other posts on here indicates seems to be the majority view of private shareholders. regardless, and just to be clear, thank you for pointing out the information i had missed All IMHO, DYOR + BoL PVCS is in my portfolio | ![]() thirty fifty twenty
11/9/2020 09:45 | Sold the remainder, my sniff around on the final day, but not sure I want the ball ache... | ![]() zcaprd7
11/9/2020 09:03 | Have you tried reading the Chairman's statement in the Circular? Item 8 Board Intentions to tender Ordinary Share "Iain Dorrity has indicated that he intends to tender at least the percentage holding equal to the Individual Basic Entitlement." | petrus12
11/9/2020 08:11 | hi all tender results pretty much as expected? it will be interesting to see what the CEO tendered. if less than 50% his % holding in new PVCS will be higher and needs an RNS. i think he will have tendered 20% knowing he will also be able to buy shares in the after market from weak / small scale /ISA sellers before the de-listing at end Sept. will be interesting to see price action and volumes available to trade from here in GLA, DYOR + BoL PVCS is in my portfolio | ![]() thirty fifty twenty
09/9/2020 14:12 | Seems to be overwhelming support for the tender offer... | ![]() zcaprd7
04/9/2020 14:44 | Yes, I think you're right, you can buy a fish and chip in your sipp if you want... | ![]() zcaprd7
04/9/2020 01:14 | I believe you can hold unlisted shares in a sipp. Not a chance in an ISA though, there was a time when you couldn't even hold aim-listed shares in an ISA. They changed that, but the rule is still regulated exchanges only. | ![]() gbjbaanb |
