Just Ian D (CEO) and Peter (p/t CFO - he was the previous CFO who retired a couple of years ago when Matthew took over) in the UK. Probably a few more in Germany as well, but I can't recall if there is any real work still going on there.

Don't think so, but they are reducing headcount so now the CFO is a part time role that one of the other directors will handle.

I think he was the final employee?

zcaord7, I quite agree. The RNS was very badly worded.

On reading the last report and accounts I read it that there will be a further/final distribution on delisting. I might be wrong on the interpretation mind.

I would really like to avoid being locked into a private company situation.

I suspect they will come good in the end, but they have worded the release poorly...so as you say, we await the details. Perhaps there will be a final distribution at the delisting stage? There's no way the current shareholders will allow them to simply delist with all that cash. The good news is that legal payment was actually a bit of a bonus, and also nothing on the German tax issue which was being used as a delay reason previously.

On second thoughts, the management only have 10% (owned by the chief executive). I wonder if the remaining shareholders will vote to de-list? I guess there is the £2.0 million to help all swallow the bitter pill.

On reading of the last Report and Accounts, it mentions a final, final, distribution after the German business is sold and there is tax clarity in respect of the first large distribution.

I guess everybody wants the 'dosh' right now.

Is it so bad for the company to be de-listed if they go forward and do what they say they will do?

Answers on a postcard!

zcaprd7, I await the circular with interest.

How are you about being locked into this 'ship' if the company is delisted prior to a final, final distribution?

I am actually relaxed, however I think the delisting might involve the buy out of the free float of shares i.e. us. It will be at a discount mind.

Do you agree?

Yes £2m is 27p, but the last accounts said IIRC they had £8.6m in cash. Even with liabilities and losses for the year, they'll still have many millions in cash lying around.

We'll see what the delisting proposal is, I do not want to be holding shares in this company (that will no doubt be a German one) that I cannot sell on the open market. If they are keeping £7m for themselves, I'll vote against that.

But they can buy me out anytime they like.

What about the rest of the money they are hoarding?

maximum return of 2m and listing cancellation. market cap of 3m seems excessive

Indeed, I don't think the listing will be worth much, but I expect the German operation to be sold for more than £1 to the management... Its not a distressed sale or anything?

zcaprd7, if the quote was worth some 'hard earned' then I could get close to your £1.50.

If all goes well in 'the new world' £1.20 would be tops.

zcaprd7, I will 'eat my hat' at £1.50. A quid would suit me.

I will not buy more now although the risk reward is better now than my entry point.

As long as the management do not run off with the cash we should be fine.

The £2.0 million distribution was partially contingent on £1.0 million being received from a miscreant client.

I bet your gold stocks are doing well for you.

Maybe there is some news due, the final settlement was due before H1 and the contingent £2m distribution was meant to happen in q3...

zcaprd7, I am happy holding here. There is real cash on the balance sheet which hopefully will eventually be distributed.

As to much of the rest of the stock market. it's like the Titanic, the ship has struck the iceberg although many of the passengers are completely unaware.

Are you still at a quid for a final receipt?

Not sure, I think we are due news by end of H1 on the final award, and further cash distribution?

Just caught up in the wave, everything is perky at the moment, all the money is coming back in and even pvcs is catching some of it.

gbj, thank you, I think I am going to be patient.

I do think the poor old consumer is not going to feel wealthy after all this. The savings rate is up already. The 'man in the street' is going to be risk averse for a while.

I do not know anything about SCS or DFS and their current ratings. Do people buy sofas and carpets on line, probably not so they will need their physical store presence unlike some other retailers.

I don't think there is a quoted garden centre group. I think the two big ones are owned by VC's although I might be wrong. Tesco owned Dobies but sold.

The pubs might come back once lockdown ends and the sun keeps shining. Next year there will be the Olympics and all the other supporting events that were cancelled. So a pub share might be a prudent move, if one requiring a bit of patience.

I wonder if companies like SCS and DFS will do well in a few months. All those people sitting at home, thinking "this sofa or these carpets need replacing". I imagine garden centres will do good trading one the pent up demand is released.

I guess you can even buy car batteries on line.

I think I would avoid all 'bricks and mortar' retailers going forward.

Now don't mention my 'pub' stocks. I think Warren would have sold out of pubs if he had owned them like his airlines.

Trouble is I like a pint at 'Spoons' and Fullers. Don't follow your heart follow your hand! Maybe I will sell and put the funds in to P.V. which is cheap in my view.

zcaprd7, the only property stock I have is Mountview as I recently sold out of my other property stock Daejan.
