gb, the management still have much (as in % of overall shares in issue) 'skin in the game' and after their experience with the previous business I bet they will be very careful.

I actually think it is the professional fees and on going overheads that will eat into what is left on the balance sheet. I do not think the German 'business' will be a big drain.

Further, I think/hope there will be a final meaningful distribution and a winding up of the company. Oh that is if the share/quote is not sold on with the previous years' tax losses.

Well you pays your money you takes your pick as they say.

I was just being optimistic myself. I hope there will be a business, but yes, my holding is only because of their cash and potential now.

However I doubt the balance sheet is worth much, they will spend it trying to build a business, if they do decide to give up then we'll only see a fraction of what's left by the time they admit it.

gb, I think you are looking at this in a mistaken way in my humble opinion.

I am only invested here in the balance sheet. There is no substantial or even minor business.

I am after one last puff of that thrown away cigar.

Don't confuse this company with anything investable. Right now it's almost a startup with no customers. I'm sure it'll get some but until it does I only hold because I have dinner left over from the capital return.

I have been thinking the big turn from growth to value must be coming soon now.

There are so many 'value' stocks and many growth stocks that in my opinion are way over priced.

1. Costs in Germany.

2. How much the 'professionals' charged for the recent cash distribution.

Your gold is doing fine.

I just cannot 'do' gold as I think it is non-productive. However I never knock success.
