28/2/2023 22:43 | supernumerary, I think you have misconstrued my statement, whether deliberately or not I'm not sure. When seeking external funding for a project from a bank or financial institution, the potential funder will be looking for a track record (of success, not of failure) of similar or even identical projects or machines. In the case of a FOAK (First of a Kind) such as the proposed DMG for Protos, it is not possible to provide any track record of its operation, by definition of a FOAK. Hence potential funders will be super cautious before committing any funding to such projects. And that fact was acknowledged by Howard White in his interview. Actually I have heard him say that previously. Once the FOAK is up and running, and assuming that it operates successfully, then for the next and subsequent DMG installations I would hope that potential funders will be more willing to invest in or lend to the projects, but it may be a hard sell in the case of the FOAK. Nevertheless I believe that Peel has been "trawling" the financial markets for some time now, and it may well be the case that they have had some success in this area. We will know in due course when they announce the result of the Financial Close. | vatnabrekk
28/2/2023 20:02 | Peakyblinderssss: Ceres Power has been good to me, doubled my money and sold at £16 just before they tanked. | cash2020
28/2/2023 19:38 | What are similar clean energy stocks that you are looking into? | peakyblinderssss
28/2/2023 19:27 | Indeed. We might even get a government grant, who knows? I’m sure it’s all in hand anyway. Keith has previously said in an interview that Peel have already been to market so they may well already know where the funds are coming from. | cash2020
28/2/2023 18:51 | They need to be careful about the terms attached to any investment. Remember that if someone provides all of the equity then they get all of the profits! | vatnabrekk
28/2/2023 18:01 | Our new polish billionaire friend may be the man to put his hand in his pocket? They said in an interview recently he’s assessed PHE’s system and was all for it. 15 - 20 million quid is chicken feed to someone like him, especially when he knows it’ll go global. | cash2020
28/2/2023 17:26 | We still need a FOAK though, and getting outside funding for a FOAK is always going to be difficult, because there is no track record, which is acknowledged by HW. If Peel don't come up with the funding for their 50% share, then perhaps PHE should go for a placing to raise the full amount required, which I always thought they should have done from the outset. | vatnabrekk
28/2/2023 16:49 | Who gives a monkeys. With petrofac on board and White's shackles removed this project doesn't matter. | schofi2
28/2/2023 16:46 | Graham, whether Peel put their own money into the project or not doesn't matter a lot, the project will go ahead anyway. As I posted here yesterday: Peel definitely want the DMG in Plot 10B because it fits into their Plastic Park strategy. Companies sorting plastic, recycling plastic, and others disposing of the non-recyclable plastic and using it to produce electricty and/or hydrogen. It all fits into their jigsaw, so they definitely want to have the DMG within it. | vatnabrekk
28/2/2023 16:41 | Where does Keith Riley stand in all of this. Is he another liar bearing in mind previous statements on progress with peel at protos. Was he aware that peel had no intention of using PHE on this site. Keith Riley, Interim Chairman and Acting Chief Executive Officer of PHE commented: "These two items form an important part of the infrastructure required to enable the Protos Plastics to Hydrogen facility to proceed. Emergency access is required to facilitate the installation of the electrical substation, which will both provide power to the site and allow it to be exported from the site when the plant runs in generation mode. As well as emergency access and egress into and out of the site, the newly completed access will also be used by the electrical network provider to access and maintain their equipment. The service ducting will enable the cabling and other services to be run into the site below the ground. | grahamwales

28/2/2023 12:59 | schofi2. I think the only "PLONKER" around here is you. Do you believe everything that HW, HUI and Ptrofac say? Just to make the position absolutly clear, the technology is viable just not commercial. | luckey jim
28/2/2023 12:42 | Hahahaha Juju44 What a PLONKER | schofi2
28/2/2023 12:26 | So juju presumably you couldn't be bothered to read the posts yesterday explaining why HW and family have reduced their shares to below 20% to get rid of the restrictions put upon them when they sold W2T to PHE. See my post 21418 yesterday. I'll repeat it here again to make it easier for you. Just click on the link. Howard White talking to Zak Mir 27 Feb. Now we know why HW hasn't been on the PHE Board so far. | vatnabrekk

28/2/2023 11:20 | "Good luck Jim" - If the technology is not viable then why do you have to persist with your mission to convince me of that. Having your opinion is your prerogative as it is mine. LOL | smokey 1o3 |
