There are several reasons, none of them are a secret; 1) It's based in Israel, 2) there's a withholding tax applied to their dividends, 3) it was recently listed on AIM (the Casino market)

Hang on a minute..3 hours ago you said... "I beleive there is some MORE bad news to come. I dont know for certain."Now you're saying you do know something is wrong but can't say what it is. Make up your mind. Again, if you're so sure, why didn't you keep your short on?

There is a reason it trades so low when compared to the rolls royce of the sector IG

There is a reason but I cant tell you, its not because of anything than it would probably be libelous. I can tell you I dont know for certain, but it isnt all black and white
I think it is the same reason the founders are selling and the hedge funds are shorting

Look at the market cap then look at the HY PBT and the expectation for FY18 and FY19. Once you have done that please present an argument why you don't think this is undervalued.

On a technical note, the 14 day RSI is at just about 30. Last time it was near here (August 24th), it bounced about 100p. The time befor that, when it was at 27.5 in December 2017, it “bounced”; just over 400p, or close to 50%(!!).

Just saying ...

FWIW, I am now gradually adding and will accelerate as, if, or when we go lower. As I sometimes say here, it may be a little painful to see what is happening, but if you are a believer, you should be licking your lips. Stuff the short term (even though this one is actually quite tradable, and on that I do agree with SB888) - the wealth will be made in the medium and long term where PLus is concerned, imo.

By the way, every day we debate the pros and cons of Plus, it accrues £750,000 of cash! That makes it an expensive short, so the HFs must believe something or other. And yet Odey believe something diametrically opposed, so don’t beat yourselves up on this one as no one can really be too sure!

Still no-one offering a rational case for why this is so undervalued by all conventional measures? Surely someone can articulate what they're thinking?

Wow, it has broken 200 dma as well @1370 and nearly it has corrected 30 % from peak. I guess it is the amount of shares released by Playtech (10 %) and founders (7.70 %) and in total it is 17.70 %

Axxion S.A. Luxembourg has picked up 5.1 %, and Old mutual another 5.83 %

Does it mean the remaining 6.77 % taken by institutional investors and reatil customers ? I guess few big boys are playing down with PLUS

The shorts are up to 6.45 % (As per shorttracker)

Added at 1383 - Just too cheap

FTSE 250 entry 24 Sept

Liberum TP 2800p (from 2491p)

"EPC mix, disclosure, new geographies, new marketing channels and index inclusion all drive a higher target multiple of 14x 2019, 12.6x 2018 and 10x 2020"

IGG is double the MCAP but has the same PBT projections.

It's certainly good to use as a case study. My first year in trading and I feel like I have seen everything with this one!!!

That's the question. But nobody seems to have a rational answer. This site has shorters on it but they never seem able to articulate why they are shorting, other than statements like 'I think i know what's going on but I won't tell you'. I've never come across a situation like we have here with Plus.

Cheap entry for Institutional Investors imo linked to FTSE 250 entry.Makes no sense on the numbers, but some are going to do very nicely once the Shorts close and they all pile in.Ruthless markets. More about playing games than recognising true value.

Can anyone explain succinctly what is going on with Plus? Not a holder but followed for some time./ Big Divvi, net cash, makes tons of money ..... so i'm not sure what has spooked the markets on this one.

Ideas?

;-)
