13/6/2023 09:09 | coxsmn, as volume today is about 7 million , do you mean they were bought off market ? Sorry but I do not follow PLUS closely but have stocks were NO SD payable in my watchlist . | arja
13/6/2023 09:04 | What is unclear is why 7.7mn shares as Odey had around 8.6mn as of last week. Odey's SWAN fund had significantly fewer than Hanbury's funds, but it seems that there had been growing redemption requests on Hanbury's funds, and perhaps they saw the writing on the wall and clearly had a willing buyer to sell to. As of just now, Hanbury's funds have been gated and that should end any sales - at least for now - from the entire Odey Group. There are likely other viewpoints as to what has happened the past weeks. | chucko1
13/6/2023 08:57 | @rHatton. Thank you. My apologies, I had binned that email. Excellent news | sophia1982
13/6/2023 08:51 | Such is the ridiculous low share price valuation of the company, plus500 has purchased 8.2% of its own shares for 101million. | coxsmn
13/6/2023 08:36 | It’s in the RNS at 0800 Plus500 bought the shares for £100 million | rhatton
13/6/2023 08:31 | Odey has or had about 8m shares. Volume today is over 7m. WEird. When somebody offloads shares, price goes down. Any other interpretations of what is going on? | sophia1982
13/6/2023 07:08 | Overhang removed | bjfanc
12/6/2023 11:38 | jimbo123elf, even with moderate redemptions this holding could bump up against the UCITS 10% rule. No single asset can represent more than 10% of the fund's assets. | planelondon
12/6/2023 11:35 | There is literally an RNS stating that Odey owns 8 percent of this company. | blueclyde
12/6/2023 11:22 | Odey AM have about £138m in Plus based on current prices. | jimbo123elf
12/6/2023 11:14 | Chucko1, good point that it’s not that big. Depends on the outlook for Mr Hanbury’s AUM in the short term. Now on < 4x earnings less the own free cash not required to back the business. | simplethesis
12/6/2023 09:02 | Chucko1, a discounted block trade of 4% or more might be of interest to Plus500 as part of an accelerated share buyback programme. | planelondon
12/6/2023 08:09 | 4% of Odey's hedge fund in PLUS. That would likely amount to around £10mn, although the likely liquidation of his HF would not need to be particularly rapid. Difficult to see an internal buyer as Hanbury already at the limit of what he can own. | chucko1
12/6/2023 07:15 | Free cashflow consensus for this year is around £270m. Market cap ex-cash is down to around £470m now. | aleman
08/6/2023 16:48 | I wonder what may happen to Odeys stake here? | blueclyde
30/5/2023 18:18 | Very mispriced here | coxsmn
30/5/2023 13:27 | Odey increasing his holding should be a positive as he must have "the ear " of the ceo | base7
26/5/2023 07:43 | Shareholders will receive 30c per share regardless of the number of shares in issue | coxsmn
26/5/2023 06:27 | Am i right in saying that the dividend of (circa) 30cents that's paid in July but was announced in Feb was based on the number of shares on the register in feb? what happens to the dividends on those shares? The company simply doesn't have to pay out on them and thus keeps the cash..............Or is the total amount of dividend re-calculated based on the number of shares in circulation at the time of payment? (sorry, novice question but there aren't many shares I hold where there's such a pronounced buy-back scheme in place and such a difference between the number of shares when a divi has been announced and when it's actually paid). | oi_oi_savaloy
26/5/2023 06:02 | I'm looking forward to the inevitable rise | coxsmn
25/5/2023 15:05 | Although not pleasant to watch our share price drop of 24% over last 6 months is not hugely out of line in comparison to competitors, with IGG -18% and CMCX -26% over same period. Lets hope the q2 trading update early July provides some positive news. At least its a good price for the buy back. | sl71
25/5/2023 12:51 | 44,000 shares a day and it is still falling! | blueclyde

25/5/2023 08:41 | Technically with the death cross well in the rear view mirror, it's going to be interesting to see why this is going down with such force. | bulltradept |
