Now told I'll get a $ dividend cheque by tracked post on this occasion. The supervisor was a little evasive over exactly what happened previously but seemed to suggest they'd only issued one cheque previously? (I don't know what to believe.) He is checking if $ cheques can be issued in future and ringing me back . If not, I can fill out an IPS (international payments) form to have the registrar convert into sterling to transfer direct to my bank account, as I do with most other sterling dividends. I asked in a previous call if anything like this could be done and was told no!

Link registrars:

Dividend cheque was due 11th July. (Previous ones turned up ok.)

Phoned up on 17th to see where it was and told it takes a few days to print and post so wait longer.

Rang a week later and told conflictingly that it had been issued in late June (really!?) and told that an instruction to cancel and reissue was entered.

Rang a week later told a technical fault held up the reissue but it had been posted the day before this call.

Back from holiday and another two weeks with no cheque and I'm told even more conflictingly that PLUS have stopped issuing cheques so can we pay it direct into your account. I told them my sterling account will not accept $ transfers directly and I've had to send previous cheques to my bank's forex processing to convert. After leaving me on hold a while, they now say they are issuing a $ cheque urgently but it might take two weeks!

How many cheques have actually been issued and cancelled? Will the alleged 3rd be issued and arrive and, if so, when?

I've lost confidence in them due to the contradictions. They could not provide me with a supervisor or manager to complain but somebody will ring me back "within 24 hours". I'll be emailing the company secretary.

Healthier results than I expected & US & UAE growing is positive .

Very strong results this morning

Revenue up 15%
EPS up 19%

$60.0m dividend declared today ($0.7344 per share), comprising of an interim dividend of $33.7m ($0.4125 per share) and a special dividend of $26.3m ($0.3219 per share).

Plus $60M share buyback

If they would be more aggressive with the dividend they would get the share price moving. The buy backs aren't working

Results unlikely to be stellar ( looking @ cmcx & IG) but we will have earned a substantial amount on our massive cash pile & I will be looking at progress at our US operation which is hopefully beginning to grow strongly.Perhaps the dividend will be increased to reflect the "windfall" revenue from interest received-we also had almost 10% less shares in issue @ 30/6

So, I've just checked the lowest FCF for the last 5 yrs and it's around GBP100M. Also, there's around GBP600M. Added to that the average FCF is around GBP300M.How is this trading at GBP1200M? Is it just regulatory fears?

After a week, Link said give it another week. After two weeks, they cancelled the first cheque and reissued a new one. After 3 weeks with no dividend, they say the replacement was only issued yesterday after an error. I hope it comes before my next one!

IGG underlying results look sort of okay but boosted by interest on cash. Dividend up slightly. Buy-backs increased. Shares up a bit.
