Looks like only way up. All political parties promising growth in house building and supporting first time buyers. Then you have BOE under pressure to reduce interest rates, inflation coming down. Could see this test £20 by sept, some way off but could be time to get in and hold.

Well I’ve been a potential buyer of new build recently and viewed several new estates. When the footways are not fit for purpose, you really don’t need any special qualifications to know if you are walking in the street with lorries and cars.

I’m certain their are far better qualified people than you checking these things on a daily basis ,planners , site managers ,surveyors, area managers and the guys who put the paths down the builders ,most of which take a pride in what they do . What makes you so qualified ?

Yes, very narrow pavements on Persimmon site imo.

Decision
There is no minimum size for the classification of footways/pavements. The legal definition of a footway is: “a way comprised in a highway which also comprises a carriageway, being a way over which the public have a right of way on foot only”.

The Disability Discrimination Act recommends that a minimum of 1200mm width of footway should be kept free of obstructions. Lincolnshire County Council seeks to adhere to this recommendation through maintenance, initial scheme design, enforcement, and development management. However this is not always possible due to the historic nature of footways in the County with many under the 1200mm minimum recommended width. ‘

Only an idiot would have shorted at that price and when it was clear that interest rates were never going to 6%. I told you all consistently the BOE rate was not going that high and I was correct, yet again!

The FTSE 100 was 6,998 at the very end of 1999.
The FTSE 100 has poorly performed over the last 23 plus years.
