@slaccs - the share price will move if a no vote before RNS. If yes vote I would say the share price will remain exactly where it is.

bolstaf - I'm the same. Only just registered so I could post questions/help RE the takeover and voting issues,.... but been lurking/reading this board for a very long time (and a long time holder!). Some good people on here, and good analysis. Always grateful, especially when the short attack occurred as this board was essential to maintain sanity and to know what on earth was happening! Made no sense as we know. Anyway, Hopefully also to be longer term holder for a few more years yet.... We will see!(back to lurking for me also now)

They must already know the outcome, interesting to see if there is any price movement pre the RNS release. Presumably they legally need to go through the formality of the Court Meeting regardless of whether they already know if they are lacking in sufficient votes or not.

WOW no posts on what for most must be a very big day indeed. I guess all the long term holders will be very sad if bidco succeed . I for one have always been inclined to think they will fail and we may return to our long term hopes for pays.either way I wish you all what you wish for and that I come across guys like wolfhound , lomax etc etc on some other bb . I have been reading this board for a very long time indeed and have only posted myself a few times since this all kicked off but have enjoyed it more than any other ...I truly hope I'll be back in tomorrow if only so I can go back to enjoying this bb as a silent viewer once more,GLA

Expectations?

Personally can't see this being voted through at 1st time of asking given the low ball offer. With such little pledged ii support they need to up the offer.

Disappointing that someone else has not yet joined the party.

Suspect if there is a dip, it will be short lived, and it will not take Budco long to come back with an improved offer, which will no doubt reflect the strength, or otherwise, of the no vote.

slaccs does look as though credit suisse and DB going short on behalf of their clients Blackstone and CVC as per 8.5 forms above to protect their downside

Have just been on to shorttracker.co.uk but there are no substantial positions that have been taken out so either the II's think it is a done deal or they don't expect the share price to crash or, of course, they could know of a higher bid.

Just checking today's 803's and see that Societe General appear to have shorted 2% of PAYS but I'm not sure if I read these forms correctly. Can anyone confirm?

I'm a bit apprehensive tomorrow as well. I guess Bidco and friends will be doing the maths today and working out how close they are for the court session and EGM. Do we know what the timings are for tomorrow?

Anyone else shorting these for tomorrow? You can still short the march contract @ 590p at City Index so you won't lose anything if the bid is accepted, with a possible 40-50p profit if the bid is rejected and the price drops back towards pre-bid level.

I'm quite nervous ahead of tomorrow. I expected the share price to quickly rise to 5.90 GBP today but it's almost as if there is nothing going on with share. Any thoughts?
