If someone holds shares in certificate form, will a cheque for £5.90 per share just come through the post, or is there any form filling to be done.

Well, I am a little long in the tooth but used to have a season ticket when I was younger. Plus used to go on the terraces in the Clough glory days.

But yes, years of pain since the glory days...

In 14 days you should have your money. From the announcement today.

Pursuant to the terms of the Scheme, each Scheme Shareholder whose name appeared in the register at the Scheme Record Time, being 6.00 p.m. on 19 December 2017, will receive 590 pence in cash for each Scheme Share held (the "Consideration"). The Consideration will be settled by or on behalf of Bidco within 14 days of the date of this announcement. Full settlement details, including those relating to Scheme Shares issued under the Paysafe Share Schemes, are set out in the scheme document published on 31 August 2017 in relation to the Acquisition (the "Scheme Document").

My undestanding is that ISA holders will not receive the cheque as they are not the registered holder. The company will not even know who they are. Cheques will be sent to certificated or CREST holders only and in each case that will be whatever nominee holds the investments in the ISA on the beneficial owner's behalf. Cash will eventually end up in that ISA account when the cheque (or possibly the electronic credit) has cleared.

Cheques supposedly being sent out January 3rd.

Got this today on my account

When will I receive this payment?

Subject to the remaining Conditions being satisfied or, where applicable, waived, it is now intended that the Scheme Court Hearing to sanction the Scheme will be held on Monday 18 December 2017 and that the Scheme will become Effective on Wednesday 20 December 2017. The resulting cash proceeds are expected within 14 days of the Effective Date.
