Qs99.

Just so you are on the right hymn sheet. The initial guess of many on the board is around 1bn usd for claim.

Dont look just at value of gold in ground.

I think this is interesting but i want people to have real facts.

There is broker note on X under the company. I think their estimate might be low given the auction. DYOR

Yup.

Given the size of the royalty and they get handed 120m usd at inital stage.

You think paying off makes sense. Reason i invested.

They can steal the asset. Make money in auction. Make indian company happy.
The pay us peanuts and we are happy.

Nobody looses. We just do not hit it massive but we could still 10 bag from here

So estimate is $17bn value, vs £11m market cap for PAT.

Again, surely Rajasthan and Indian government, would be better off just paying PAT to go away? Let alone if they do have valid rights as that could end up costing them billions

Views?

Can't understand why the govt of India don't just chuck PAT £100m to go away given size of the gold deposit etc....surely a nuisance AND just means its reputation as a rule of law/safe place to do business is just tarnished? DYOR

Yup..seems like auction had winner. See lse board.

Smaller company and royalty was 60pct+.

I am still trying to process why it is so high. Probably there is some detail i do not understand but i am happy another thing is crossed off the list.

Hopefully now we can move to next stage! :)

I think cash goes more than 1yr ( i cannot see us throwing cash at kalaka).

Anyway 6m from now the claim amount will be in public domain. If the stock has not risen to 10p by then we are all wrong because the market does not likw the story.

Maybe 1 Yr.. they raised about £900k early Dec..and if they have to start throwing money into Kalaka etc..it might run out before 12months is up.

The cash will last a year. Hopefully get some case milestones along the way. Would obviously have been a lot easier raising at higher levels had we actually managed to tick some of those off. Won't be long before we do

Yup..let's hope good news comes in from negotiations in India & or we sell something in west africa before this cash raise runs out.Which I reckon will be in 6 or so months. Maybe less.

The general feeling is the case is solid due to lcm ( winning 93 pct of cases).

There is some uncertainty at moment.
1. Waiting for next stage in court
2. Management are palying with west african assets (kalakka) to realise value so we have clean ride to court case

Maybe todays results were not perfect around 80pct recovery. But in general we need a CEO update

Agree with the general view of being happy with pretty much anything.

I am becoming a little bit more optimistic now given the email responses below. Minimum 1.3bn usd in 2027 ( by the time we go to court) is my guess.

We have drilling for 7.3m oz with extra 0.7m oz from equivalents.

I saw videos of geologist from GSI and ours saying resource could be much larger. That is both sides stating more than last drill results.

I think we might go for 10m oz, so i think 1bn at todays point is possible.

Factor in maybe 8pct a year for accrued interest until we go to court and we are at 1.3bn usd

Personally i think they have this scenario already priced up, hence drawing your attention to the $1bn number in rns from times of india.

The CEO is stating that damage estimates are required, but just not at the next stage where we ask for a tribunal to be formed.

I think the issue might be that we have no incentive to reveal damages until required, but investors want to know earlier.

Tough place for CEO. I expect he will follow advice of the lawyers, if they say to delay it he will.

From reading his responses, i am very very happy, but i like you want formal confirmation. My numbers could be massively off!.

I would have thought it's in everyone's interesting ( including all investors big & small) to at least give an indication of the claim.I would have thought even the arbritation panel would expect similar.

Honestly not sure.
One piece of information on lse said it happened last week or a little before.

But there are then also further admin steps.

All a bit annoying because i expected a Q1 release of claims amount
