I think it will be q1. Should attract a bit of interest.

Heading in the right direction, anyone that sells (unless desperate for the cash) now might want to read the Allenby note. Dyor. Gla.

They said Q4, though they are always late on such things so I wouldn't worry. There is no sign of the auction yet, it's possible the claim amount won't be released until after the auction since it provides good justification.

I'd love to see a 29p rerate, but Allenby have been rating PAT at 25_30p for about 3-4 years now. Keeping my expectations down and my hopes high.

I would hope that's the bad news out the way. Quantum of the claim should be the start of the game changer.Hopefully the GoV of rajasthan/india will see sense and offer an early settlement. I doubt new & old investors would be involved in the 'cash raise' unless they were confident of a good return soon.Like wise the 2 x brokers taking shares as payment. $13.6 million no win no fee is locked in.Point of note ...no TR1 sellers for long long time.

Going off pats website re share holders.19% not in public hands so bod etc.65% nominee/corporates etc. 84% Total.(yes I know normal sh can hold in nominee accounts but I doubt many).154500000 shares in circulation.Leaves 24.7 million shares floating around. Now of course we can never know how many sh there are. I would still have thought that's only going to be in the low hundreds. When the claim amount comes out I reckon there might be a short supply of shares. IMHO.

Hopefully it would give some uplift. I think MB said something like 10% in the value of the claim.Others have mentioned similar figures...(including myself). With a no win no fee amount of $13.6 million and the very high probability of a win, if that doesn't lift the share price some what I might have to buy a hat and eat it for Christmas Dinner!

notice has to be given in 4th qtr from last RNS?

wonder how much detail will be contained in it, and whether that should give an uplift to the SP?

views?

AGM this morning. I doubt there will be any new solid news, just an update on operations and future plans with hopefully no funding concerns

Wow..if the amount is up around the $2 billion mark I would hope for an early settlement..say $500 million after our cost to LCM would be good. For new investors obviously dyor but head over to DFR gold website and read up there. In West Africa we have an asset which we both hold 40% of.

Jetty. Well claims are usually set high although obviously they have to have some 'real value' attached to them but a rule of thumb would be a payout on success of 1/3rd of the claim. That's still 30 times the current mcap and deducting a further 1/3rd for legal expenses etc still makes it 20 times ie. £1+ps. We need patience too. Maybe 2/3 years. We shall see.

The auction guide price is $1.7b I think, so the claim amount could be quite high.

The actual amount awarded varies significantly in BIT cases. Nobody can say how close it will be to the claim amount.

The play here, at least for me, is waiting for the mcap to reach 10-20% of the claim amount to take profits. You don't need to stick around forever waiting for a victory, the build up to the decision holds significant value in its own right.

Do you actually believe the claim will be for $1b as that is just the unverified estimated value of the potential reserves? I can't see that they will get anywhere near to making good on that value if they do actually win the claim.(Interested small holding investor)

Uncertainty is always the worst thing and I think it's the uncertainty regarding the claim which is causing the price to drift off. Also is it possible that a credit raise will be needed for PAT to keep ticking over? If so, this is likely to be done after the claim level is known as this should enhance the share price At 5.7p to buy today where I topped up, a claim of $1B is 89 times the mcap. By historic reference to previous arbitration cases, these are pretty good odds. GLA

Thanks Ed..I do think the auction will have influence. loaded up like you, as previously said I am looking to start skimming from 20p plus, I bought with that in mind & hopefully leaving a good lump for claim award.Apart from the interview and similar info yo go off.. I am hopefully for early settlement and a £1.50 plus plus diviy up. The problem here is for investors look to invest a grand or so looking for a quick return may not see that unless they are prepared to wait anything up to 4 months or so but it could come at anytime that's the nature of aim.Good buy in price at the moment imo.

Same $500-1000m estimation. I wonder if the auction will affect the price. Otherwise my opinion is the same, keep holding until the claim amount is announced. I've refrained from trading on PAT and kept accumulating until now, but I think playing the highs and lows is my strat from now on.
