21/3/2023 09:54 | There is nobody opening new shorts at this level imo, well apart from the Bond holder....... All the selling now is long term holders selling down to buy back cheaper in the likely discounted placing thats coming. And of course......the Bond Holders can short sell down their next tranche of shares once we move over into April/May before they get paid those shares in June. Whilst they are telling you that everything is good and everything is fine, many a long term holder is likely dumping as much stock as they can to then buy back cheaper in a placing. Would not be surprised if the Directors also purchase some chunks of stock in the likely placing.......given they sold loads about 100p it would look "nicer" if they then now purchased some back with the profits from their recent share sales....... So no......apart from the Bond Holder potential to short down their next load of shares.......I dont think anyone is opening new shorts now. All just waiting for the fund raise, imo. | pro_s2009
21/3/2023 09:50 | a report that i read recently said that the combined 2022 profits for chevron, exxonmobil, shell, BP, total energy were added up to in excess of $150 billion. Pantheons current market cap is the region of $250 million. Yesterday Pantheon said that there are 8-10 years remaining on their leases. Some may consider $250 million market cap a drop in the ocean as compared to the plus $150 billion made by the oil companies in 2022, especially if potential partner thinks there is a benefit in having such long leases giving them ample time to make the this potential 1.7 billion plus discovery actually commercial. If the technology is not there now to enable these finds to be commercial, they have years ahead for technology to develop and ultimately , hopefully, produce oil. I wonder if respective partners will just view Pantheon as nice option to hold over the next 8-10 years, especially when such large onshore discoveries appear to be so rare nowadays. | keeper27
21/3/2023 09:49 | Well now, here's the daily chart poised to go up. Canthelpit can't stop going on about ascending flags. There isn't one here, what there is, is MACD about to turn up, RSI already pointing in that direction from a very oversold point, as are stochastics. It's taken a few days to get to this point but here now. With a touch of minor resistance around 29, then nothing to stop a recharge to the low 40s. If I were short, am unsure how to play it other than an immediate close, if you haven't already. You could try a re-entry around 30/32 to get an intra day reversal (possibly more) on the shorter timescales but I wouldn't hold onto it. Don't be fooled by the move down from c 27 to 26 - that's just working off the very short timescale charts, 1 and 5mins. The US closed above 26p - they'll be coming back for more soon. | forwood
21/3/2023 09:34 | In my honest opinion, you would be foolish to short at this level. The share price is very very cheap.Good luck. | elhank
21/3/2023 09:32 | No real work is going to be done on this currently massive non-commercial Theta West area until of course......they raise loads of money to fund the work programme to attempt to prove it might be, possibly, commercial. Which is most lilely to be a discounted placing. Which is why many people, like me, will buy into the placing......and likely a lot of shorts will close into the placing. Which is why currently the share price is weak.........whilst everyone waits for the potential placing......... Why buy at 25p what might be available soon at 20p ? or 15p ? or 10p ? | pro_s2009
21/3/2023 09:29 | They have the biggest NOT commercial onshore oil find of 2022. Which is why the share price is going down the pan.......... Did you know.......a small 5 million barrel recoverable field is worth real money. A 17 billion field with 0 million barrels commercially economic to recover is worth...well...nothi So herein lies the problem..........lik Did you ever read about Texas and all the PANR belief its commercial there in Texas......... ?? | pro_s2009
21/3/2023 09:18 | Cor blimey, guv! There's a noisy cabal of traders on the board this morning. They've all come out from the guild. They want your money. They are nothing but noise. Providing only froth for the share price chart. The next bearish, ascending flag is coming into being. Wait for the 4 week moving average to bottom and await the inevitable fall as the continuation pattern progresses. There are obvious reasons: free stock charts from uk.advfn.com 10p is the target. Be careful. | helpfull
21/3/2023 09:06 | Why wait for the data room? I expect with the info to hand there is enoug to make a cheeky bid, say at £1.50. Highly unlikely to succeed but would do wonders for the SP! | forwood
21/3/2023 08:54 | They had me at “Independent assessment from the best, confirming we have the largest oil find on shore globally of 2022” If you don't think we’ll be swimming with offers for farm in partners your mad, even a cheeky bid could come after our data rooms opens. This is going to be so many magnitudes of the current share price it’s unreal. I still maintain my personal take out of £5 and that will be considered cheap ! I wish everyone good luck but don’t give away your shares for pittance on the back of false lies. | sirmark

21/3/2023 08:47 | PoobearI'm sure that is coming30p+ this weekIt's just too cheapGo watch the Talitha and Theta West webinar Assume Alkaid is a zero (but it's not...its will be commercial)...panthe | marto1000
21/3/2023 08:45 | All true Forwood. The stock is dirt cheap on those metrics. However management buying shares will show how cheap the stock really is and be a grey swan for the shorters and must make them worried as this could come anytime and could blow them out of the water | poohbear1
21/3/2023 08:36 | Hostage to fortune poohbear! How about the largest onshore oil find in 2022? How about >2bn barrels recoverable currently for US$0.11 / bbl v Oil Search paying US$3.10 / bbl on North slope Nov 2017? | forwood
21/3/2023 08:13 | Good post Marto. However the only way this share price is going to motor short term is if management buy shares in the market. Hopefully someone like David or people close to management will make this clear to them.... | poohbear1
21/3/2023 07:59 | Cor blimey, guv! Was that it? Blame the shorters. And why wouldn't you? Were the directors sells mentioned? Was the current cash position mentioned? And how much funds are required? Did they say if they thought Pantheon was overpriced? And still is? Where are all the suitors? And the bags of cash? Be careful. | helpfull
21/3/2023 07:36 | Total bargepole - single digits soon? | scepticalinvestor
21/3/2023 07:15 | Contrary views are welcome and appreciated if supported by facts.... The is a distinct lack of facts in 99 per cent of any contrary views I have seen presented. So no wonder that most ignore the contrary bullsh1t, as it's made up. | chris0805
21/3/2023 06:47 | The bull...great comments Whilst we all understand and recognise the risks, and recent shareprice volatility....there is nothing on any geological basis...nothing...no roadblock...no major concern that condems the project.Funding...if Pantheon were short of funds, and say for eg raised 10 or 20m to add to current, that would elimate those concerns as that would be easily cover a SMD Alkaid test...which as we know will be very anticipated and highly impactful...success there on a 2bbbl target and the company will be moving up the "trust " scale again very quickly....stock has always rallied hard after a raise into drilling..will happen again if it that panned out...and caught the market napping...Plans for a Theta West drill end of the year will happen with multiple options on the table...imagine 2-3 partners all wanting in!Pantheon has the biggest Onshore USA discovery in decades....and there's nothing on a geological basis that buries it anywhere. 25p...could be the best buy of the century...and I think it could easily be North of 100p by year end into Theta West. And we all forget the new lease acquisition...determ | marto1000
21/3/2023 05:57 | "I'll say it for the umpteenth time, this site is infested with idiots" First time we have agreed Michael. You are absolutely right - this site is infested with idiots. Unfortunately for you, the idiots are those long term holders who have watched the share price plunge over 75%, all while maintaining everything is rosy and not considering one iota of information presented by somebody with a contrary view | thebull8
21/3/2023 05:54 | "would prefer a less dilutive approach" No doubt you would. Doesn't work that way thou. Cat is out the bag - everybody knows they need money for more drilling | thebull8
21/3/2023 05:51 | Short hurting no doubt but - much like Pantheon went it kept defying gravity at 100-150p - I maintain that Nvidia is grossly overvalued and will eventually plunge back to a reasonable valuation around $100. Patience my friend | thebull8 |
