I still have enough of these to use up a years worth of CGT if the deal goes through as purely cash --- only just dodged having to pay tax on the original Arris deal also. Which is why I am happy that it will complete after APRIL 5th as I have no cgt left this year either. Alex I too moved sales of pace/arris shares into dividend stocks like Lloyds, NG and TW over the last 5 years. Although Pic worked as as a 4x for me, but over a long time, I now prefer income stocks than gambling on share value of a company. Pic was some ride for all of us!
This thread has probably been the best on this platform over the years and input from those associated with pace has been very welcome. Shame some things come to an end, even though this one has a more than satisfactory conclusion for me.
Just hope the deal goes through before the pound recovers too much.

Not many of us remain Arris shareholders.
My understanding is that 1GW is still an Arris holder as well as a Commscope holder.
I sold mine shortly after the deal announcement and bought some Lloyds Bank for the dividends and capital growth. The dividends are ok so far. Next dividend payment (final) of 2.14p is due on 21st May 2019, and ex-div day is 4th April 2019. Annual dividend yield is currently around 5.2% (3.24p - current price 61.98p).
