Thanks chaps - there are a few on here with dubious agendas who try to depict their own speculation as fact when a simple call to the Company would clear up delusions.

1zabrina, I detect the reincarnation of Stephen1946 here, so just one for the weekend. The obvious thing is to call the Company but in line with the absence of any such disclosure via RNS, OXS are not involved in talks with the Uzbeks, OXS are not involved in settlement discussions and they are not in secret talks with little green men from outer space. OXS are awaiting the decision from the arbitration panel in the very near future - nothing more, nothing less.

Amazing you can question the credibility of someone like Nick when he has been posting nothing but factual information for sometime now while you've just turned up (probably posted before with a different username)with one liners and can't back anything up.
You also seem to have a huge ego that demands to be listened to.

Anyone is free to contact the company and ask them the same question and see what they say...

Nick2412 - thanks for sharing that.

"oxus ARE involved in talks with uzbeks, if only on a day to day basis as interested combatants"

How can you be so certain? What's your source?

everyone is certain that secrecy rules here, where tribunal is concerned.
don't you think it just might rule where ANY price sensitive info is??

oxus ARE involved in talks with uzbeks, if only on a day to day basis as interested combatants, under no circumstances did an oxus Board member tell anybody today, yesterday or tomorrow that they, oxus were not involved in settlement talks with the uzbeks.

You notice by the way the ambiguous form of Nick post. "not involved in talks with uzbeks" nothing to substantiate nick claim that the phone call dismisses a settlement discussion. mischievous nick.

So where do you get your information from then, 1zabrina, if it's not from phoning the company? From temmujin? LOL.

Sorry, I have to knock this 'in settlement' talks suggestion on the head. I called the Company this week. They are awaiting a decision and are not involved in talks with the Uzbeks. Anyone else can do likewise and they will get the same response. Apparently they had solid reason to put out the very near future comment and, whilst understanding the volume of work involved in writing up these cases, they seem somewhat surprised nothing has come out yet and therefore still expect a decision in, I hate to say, 'the very near future'.

1zabrina? Member since yesterday. 2 posts so far; both on OXS. Says it all, IMO.

PS. I had to un filter GS. Couldn't stay away from this bb. Resisted the temptation for four days, but gave in to temptation today.

IMO RS has had no indication from the arbitrators as to an end date. If he had been given an end date he would have to RNS it (see RUR.L as a reference) 'End 2014' was presumably a guess by our lawyers, which RS chose (mistakenly in my view) to RNS. RS stated at the AGM this year that he would 'not make that mistake again'. Quite how the NOMAD allowed 'very near future' which was both provocative and non-specific is a mystery. GLA.

Strange sell of 38500 shares followed by two buys of the same number makes me wonder if someone pressed sell rather than buy by mistake so first had to buy back and then buy again.
EDIT if so a buy of 77000 rather than 2 at 38500 might have been more efficient.

1zabrina,

Does it really matter what they are doing ? The situation is that this has been dragging on for many years with no official news in the past 15 months apart from two inaccurate comments.

Whether they are currently discussing a settlement or choosing which font to print the final report in makes absolutely no difference to people waiting for the result since we have no idea what they are doing. As for the strange buy/sell patterns, they are no stranger than any particular range in the past year or so, and are only indicative of the end because so much time has already passed that the end has to come some time.

This has, "settlement talks" written all over it.

That's the reason for Mr Shead saying what he has said. Time will tell that these talks have gone on since late 2014. Since they began the guv`nor has been unable to expand on the situation other than to give obscure end times.

The current strange buy/sell patterns suggest the end is, Nigh.

Someone on here said it went through, or maybe confused with total volume, lol.

Anyway don't shoot the messenger!

Nice 700,000 worth of share bought since 12.00

Nearly there IMHO.

Day traders ramping up the price yesterday then selling today for small profit.
They will probably do it again next week and the week after.
