We're 2 months away from end of 2024 and the problem cfcs in Australia have been launched but USA and Canada seem to have stalled. The robotic orders seem to be scarce.
2025 should be the year Ocado Board call the changes - another 3024 cannot be accepted.

OCADO NAMED AS UK’S MOST EXPENSIVE FOOD & GROCERY RETAILER
===========================================================

It might offer the convenience of home delivery and the ability to order groceries via your phone or your laptop, but on a basket of 30 every day staple items, including Milk, Bread, Eggs, Margarine, Pasta, Cheese, Honey, Fresh Fruit & Vegetables and Microwave Meals, Ocado has been named as the UK’s most expensive food and grocery retailer

The survey concluded that Aldi and Lidl provided the best value for money with rivals Ocado and Marks & Spencer proving to be the most costly.

Fun fact your sponsor has dropped you.

I think you may find Harrods as the most expensive.

It is like buying Tesco baked beans at Harrods.

If Tesco is WINNING, then chances are, Ocado and other grocers must be LOSING !!

Obviously it's not helpful for OCADO to be named and shamed as "the UK's most expensive grocer" to shop with.

Tesco has lifted its annual profit guidance despite a slight slowdown in underlying sales growth in the second quarter. Due to stronger-than-expected volumes in the first half, which the grocer put down to its ongoing investments in "value, quality and service", retail adjusted operating profit for the year ending 24 February to £2.9bn, up from earlier guidance of at least £2.8bn and higher than last year's £2.76bn.

It is worth remembering that Ocado's business operations remain heavily loss-making where it matters and it continues to burn cash at an astonishing rate..

OCDO shareholders should NOT expect to receive dividend payments anytime soon

Kroger's takeover of Albertson appears to be facing a third legal challenge- it's 2 yrs almost since Kroger launched the bid for Albertson - in that time how many CFCs have announced or launched? If K wants to put all its strategic effort into Albertson takeover then it should pay Ocado for missed opportunity/revenue?

Not an AI play, more a robotics play with commercial evidence. Its a tech company valued as a retailer.

Yes, going way higher. 170 million caught short here with a market upgrade and upgrades to tech margins. Revenue uplift was some 5% above consensus, pretty much what the competition dream of across the year never mind on a quarterly basis. The market behind company announcements. Next a chunky Cfc contract. Then Xmas trading and another acceleration in sales imo...
