19/9/2024 12:22 | Of course, we read the RNS that is precisely why we shorted OCDO, and then banked a fast turn. | throgmortonstreet

19/9/2024 09:29 | Should be quite explosive here soon. Amazing forward guidance, no negatives. Rate cuts soon. Many many shorts still open that will be looking to take profit on this before it's too late. Could capitulate north very fast soon. The quiet before the stormAs they say. | nobbyknome1

19/9/2024 08:47 | Online grocer and logistics group Ocado surged after it upgraded its revenue guidance for Ocado Retail - its joint venture with Marks & Spencer - following a strong third-quarter performance which saw retail revenues jump 15.5%. | qantas

19/9/2024 07:22 | The Board needs to focus on the weak links. If N&S hadn't voiced its unhappiness about Ocado Retail, would Ocado had kept to its previous strategy and management? I consider Ocado robotics and technologies in need of a change - where are the orders for the robots or revenue for stalled cfcs? | stutes

19/9/2024 06:46 | It is worth remembering that Ocado's business operations remain heavily loss-making where it matters and it continues to burn cash at an astonishing rate.. Investors should NOT expect dividend payments any time soon | sellhighandbuylow

19/9/2024 06:30 | Today's trading update from Ocado Retail shows to me that if you have the right strategy and people in place then good results follow. | stutes
19/9/2024 06:19 | Excellent. Guidance raised "YET AGAIN". The share price however languishes in the gutter due to market forces or manipulation? We know the answer to that. Until such times as retail investors see and understand the value OCADO presents and actually start buying then the share price is unlikely to respond how it should do. Once the shorts start to crumble then that will self fuel and a more realistic price will ensue. In the meantime today realistically should bring a minimum 10% - 15% increase. Happy to be holding. | whites123
19/9/2024 06:05 | Raising guidance again! | wololol

18/9/2024 20:00 | OCADO SHARES DOWNGRADED BY SHORE CAPITAL (STOCKBROKERS) ==================== Analysts from Shore Capital (Stockbrokers) have warned clients that Ocado’s inability to turn a profit and rein in cash burn means the business is “living on fumes”. Shore Cap remains highly critical of Ocado’s inability to make progress “in building a substantial non-UK firm”, highlighting the difficulties and complexities of running a company of two halves. Analysts pointed out that Ocado Retail, which is essentially just its joint venture with Marks & Spencer Group plc, continues to have razor-thin operating margins of just 2.5%. Whilst recent results show “a welcome improvement”, it will be quite some time before that half of the business “makes an attractive EBIT contribution”, said the broker. As for Ocado’s technology segment, made up of its robotic warehouse services, Shore Cap remains highly sceptical of the progress being made internationally. Ocado currently only licences its warehouse tech to just 13 overseas retailers. Sales in this part of the business grew 22% year on year, for the first half, but “Ocado remains heavily loss-making and continues to burn cash”, said Shore Cap. | throgmortonstreet
