morning Qantas,
got hit today with falling nasdaq hurting tech stocks . But bounced a bit from low point and good luck with it . I just focus on trading FX in last week or so as just to hard to find a nice uptrending chart in stocks :)

yes , quite good results Qantas although has come off a bit after hitting 826 . Good luck and hopefully it will kick on from tomorrow although overall market mood is still quite bearish.

so main reason was a broker update to 750 which is below current level . Profit taking likely this afternoon unless US indices rally . We will know after 2.30pm !

November marks 3 Yr anniversary of Ocado buying Haddington and Kindred - with AI and robotic warehousing surely we should see this part of Ocado being a growth business?

OCDO has certainly taken off today in a slightly bearish market overall ! It can always surprise us and MIGHT even head for 880 level again

I believe Ocado have said a non grocery customer will be announced soon.
Nike would be a premium customer.
57 is a commonly quoted number of Nike distribution centres.

Am new to this board so may have been discussed already... any expectations of contracts from non-grocery customers ?? I discussed with an analyst who believes Nike UK may well become a customer and the economics will be asset light rather than the problematic grocery contracts.

Until they have any meaningful $ revenues there is no point. No US analyst will cover it, few US PMs will buy it. CRH has a massive US business, >50% of Ebit. ARM isn't a UK business.

I think consumers will believe Which and over time desert those Supermarkets who are perceived to have milked the cost of living squeeze. The question is can Ocado gain from consumers switching to other grocery providers?

Arm's IPO and the first trading mark-up should focus Ocado's Board on switching its main listing away from London to USA. It seems too often London prices firms at a discount, USmarket prices firms at a higher rating and it allows US firms to buy on the cheap.

Arm Holdings ipo pricing and over subscribed x10 ; Ocado should imho switch its listing to USA reflecting where most of the business is focused. Why bother with London market; too many issues and low price ratings.

Think we will see 720s tomorrow or in the next few sessions of the downward trend continues. Need to hold on the 720 otherwise it's around 680 I think for the next support level

Online grocery firm Instacart seeks up to $9.3 billion valuation in IPO



If Instacart place $9bn valuation on itself then applying the same valuation assumptions, what would Ocado value total?

not so sure "violent" is the right word as had rallied strongly to almost 900 level recently . But sadly looking rather shaky today

sudden downward movement and struggling to hold the 800 level . chart support at about 725 but that is probably worst case scenario.

so just sees to have been a kind of pump and dump sadly as has retraced quite a lot. There was no news announcement as far as I can see .
