yes , I usually use the " if in doubt , get out or partially out " method . Moved on to GLEN but only a very modest profit after just exiting :) . It is another NO stamp duty stock of course and a pity OCDO is not although ASC is .

OCDO down a bit on profit taking I guess Qantas . Had fun in S32 after buying just after opening but got out a bit early as usual for a very nice profit at 205.5 . :) .Now hitting 207 !

Tim Steiner and co don't want to sell, that was made pretty clear. I guess everyone has a price but I'd expect nearer double the rumoured Amazon offer in time. Opportunity for Ocado is massive not just supermarkets. Multi territory & multi sector technology = £££.

I hope it does hit previous high point as anything is possible in markets . But surely if a bid occurs in near future of close to £10 and accepted by the Board , it can not eventuate

Ocado’s share price – which had been battered after the pandemic due to Brits heading back to physical supermarkets – is now up nearly 20 per cent so far this year.

Niel we are going back to £29 +++

Cureboy,You obviously haven't been in Ocado for long. The amount of scoffing when the share price was £29 was amusing. It did then drop all the way back to under £4. I wonder why that was - oh yes, they don't make any money :-DEnjoy the share price run. I will.Cheers,Niels

QANTAS,Lovely to see you so gleeful. You obviously didn't pick up on my comment last Tuesday. So no skin of my nose.This is certainly a massive win for Ocado. Note that they their debt did increase by £324m in the last 6 months, so even with this windfall I can see debt increasing by £100-£150m in H2. It may make the company look like it is turning the corner, but in reality the share price will no doubt trend higher, which will make it a perfect time to do a cash raise.Will be interesting to see how the short position reduces.Cheers,Niels
