Never seen this before!! Don't think they went up this much in a day, even in the heady days of £29 plus!! Anything to do with Tim Steiner deferring the sale of large amounts of shares for one year, then a further two years???

I just read the shares got suspended half an hour ago..,, possibly to regulate the market but let's see if any news after close.

Was expecting 810 to break but not as aggressively as it has. Come 920 or thereabout let's push through that as well.

interesting and maybe the saying" a sprat to catch a mackerel " applies . That reminds me to order a fresh fish delivery including mackerel IF they have any - BIG IF ! :)

The shorts are no doubt working with a potential acquirer or acquirer's to keep a lid on the share price for a cheap takeover. Fair value for Ocado right now is probably double the current market cap. They've done well to keep it down this low.

I do not follow shorts as some of you do but surely it is surprising that shorts not closed now as OCDO has been in a short term uptrend on chart for a while and could get to 900 area if it can break 800 decisively . i doubt they would be covered shorts .

That's good to know that the upward movement is not as a result of shorts closing. When they start to close it will only push the price higher.

After hours auction yesterday was interesting. Suggests a return to over 900 very soon.
