Virtually unchanged again, this time +£4. [FTSE 250 -0.73%].

Highest value risers : IHC +6.5%, IGR +2.4%, RTC +5.1%, BRSN +1%, MANX +2%.

Worst value fallers : PEW -4.9%, PHNX -1.9%, HICL -1.8%, RECI -1.9%.

Doing a bit of profit taking lately as well as building up the cash reserves, a couple of holdings needed trimming, my timings not the best usually. Have some headroom now in ISA but not rushing to fill it in.

The ADVFN 'space' has gone I notice, didn't realise we had so much clout.

Cooler here 19C-22C, 1/2 inch of rain has made little impression.

I guess Aleman lives on top of Great Wernside what with his Sunflowers blown over and arctic temperatures.

Re terminating subscriptions ADVFN will lumber you with a box stating that you should upgrade your subscription, there seems no way of getting rid of this and it is on every page.

I terminated my subscription because of the multiple avatar problem not an ads problem.

Hot here with humid nights.

Down a bit today again. Odd starting prices so not sure by how much but not dramatic.

High here 19.2C - no sun and a moderate fall of rain after similar overnight. Shouldn't have said anything about getting tomatoes ripened!

My SIPP finished up 0.06%.

Another hot day @29°C.

An evening for sitting in a pub garden? Discuss!

SIPP -0.43% MACF, PEW & BRCI and the pot -1.17% MACF, LLOY & SGC

At least the sun has come out again and it's a lovely evening!

Like that plane!

Similar here wllmherk, although it's mainly MACF & PEW doing it for me today.

I'm outperforming the FTSE today but not in a good way, PHNX and CLLN doing the damage.

We were out on The Solent when you went past then! We've just sent our van driver to Poole but I'm not expecting him back much before lunchtime as the traffic is terrible during this hot weather!

Aleman, at least ZMNO hasn't fallen this morning, unlike most of my other stocks!

MrP - we left about midday, so it was still hot and sunny.

There was quite a long traffic jam on the M27 south and a couple of miles queuing (as ever) to go through Lyndhurst.

The temperature climbed through the afternoon here to reach 28.3C. Fortunately, it clouded ever at dinner time to take the edge off so it wasn't too warm to sleep. Rained through the night but starting to dry off now.

Another good report from Zamano. Will the shareprice ever move?

Morning All.

Skinny, you managed to get back before we had the showers then?! We left the boat open at lunchtime and by the time we got back around 7:00pm last night there were a few puddles inside!

According to the thermometer on the shed, we saw 29.2°C yesterday but I do think it was higher than that. Down to 18.9°C last night and we actually left the portable air conditioner going all night in the bedroom!

Good Morning.

A couple of superb days away, with a very warm drive home yesterday.

The car was indicating between 34-36°C and it was probably at least 32°C here at 5 O'clock.

I look to be @+0.4% since the weekend.

Slightly lower today. [FTSE 250 +0.18%]

Highest value risers : IGR +2.2%, HAYT +4.8%, LLOY & LLPC +2.9% & 1.7%, MCS +4.7%.

Worst value fallers : BLT -2.5%, BRCI -3.3%, BRSN -1%, MLIN -5%.

Had a repeat of the lack of live quotes situation to sell with HL this morning but this time I was ready & on the phone immediately to trade. Still there was a delay as he [the HL trader] pointed out it was cheaper to trade online & faffed around over the execution whilst the bid price was dropping with every precious second. Still we got there before the situation became to drastic.

Probably was the hottest here Aleman, we took the boat out to cool off at lunchtime!

Funny day today, the pot managing +0.96% thanks to LLOY, SGC & AIEA but despite a valiant effort from LLOY, the SIPP fell -0.39% due to a bad day from BRCI with NG. & UU. also falling.

Need to get back down the boat to put the covers on which we left off in the hot sunshine but now dark grey and threatened showers!

My portfolio is still flirting with its high for the year but I benefitted greatly from the weak £. It will be interesting to see if I can hang on to gains if the £ is recovering slightly.

Not the hottest day, here, at 23C (over 27C Monday), but it was warm last night so the house is hot and some of the flags outside are too hot to walk on barefoot. It's ripening the tomatoes nicely, though. We might be able to start eating them in a few days. The pears I picked a few days ago smell lovely in the fruit bowl as they soften so they will probably go first. Must pick some more for next week!

Morning All.

blueliner, that's just typical of Corbyn and many other politicians. No wonder they get a bad press with all the slimy antics they get up to.

Only saw 26.5°C yesterday but it felt a lot hotter. Down to 16.4°C last night and felt lovely out in the garden at 6:30 this morning.
