The share price is a nonsense and so called analysts target prices are a nonsense. Some of them don’t even know the relationship between the adr price and the aim price. So long as Nexxen hit or beat the H2 guidance for H2 with good mid teens growth guidance for FY25, then the SP will hit £8 on full Nasdaq listing or takeover

Thanks Tapa! Many moons ago, I was a capital accountant before moving on. NPV (PV) and IRR are something I was good at valuing companies for buyout/takeover and valuing returns on projects, so I know the short falls. As ever it is based totally on assumptions one makes! I guess my old job is now done by AI! But as per Jurassic Park, real life will find the answer! R

The SP is meaningless if the Q1 and full year performance is in line with guidance. A sensible current valuation should be £5+ growing to £7/8 over the course of the year. That would be the starting point for a takeover negotiation regardless of the current SP

Brimach, curious to know what you regard as equal par or what closing the gap equates to. The range of valuations in this sector is huge. TTD is in a league of its own so can dismiss them. Most of the other players have had a Microsoft or Alphonso moment in recent years and have failed to demonstrate a consistent and reliable growth path. Optimistically I’m looking at Pubmatic and Viant as valuation guides. For the moment they seem to be on a good track. Based on their revenues, ebitdas and cash positions it would seem reasonable for Nexxen to command an SP of £6+ if they deliver against guidance this year. If they’re on track through Q3 I still think a takeover is likely
