would have thought, in the field of Quantum technology, which changes by the day, this may have been reflected somewhere on this site?

mrplay no updates can be seen as a positive,
if the product was defunct the webpage would have been removed.
No updates means the product is mature and in no further
need of development.
all imho of course

Amazon barely makes a profit and never made a profit for 20 years.

Does anyone know which part of Dow Nanoco deal with?
Is it Display Materials or Display Films?

Andy. Sounds about right, as I said earlier nano cannot influence the manufacturers timelines for product release. The biggest problem I see is ME has not been dishonest, but over optimistic about the roll out of cfqd display.

Profit won't be until 2018 at the earliest, even if they meet their projections. However if Nanoco can demonstrate they can be self supporting, then I think that will instil some confidence in the markets, and then hopefully the share price will recover some if not all of the ground lost since the Summer.

I think it will take decent profit for the share price to cross past the £1 threshold however, and the analysts projections from this time last year now look widely over optimistic.

ME has had a good stab at suggesting rollout of product is imminent, several times over several years. Any words to the same effect on April 4th will be just that. We need to see Revenue. It is the only confirmation. I expect any revenue will fall far short of producing profit for some time though.

No one at the helm including ME can dictate the roll out of the end product
But it would be helpful if they could confirm we will be supplying the dots

Unfortunately until april 5th we will to know anything. It could be great, ok or bad news. Bagpuss you are stating worse case. Ok would be payment in regards to the new release from philips in september. Great would be philips plus dow is supplying = payments. With Mike at the helm it will probably be bad. Lots of we need one last fund raising to increase premises to supply philips.

Looking at the II list that Roadster posted I still think the institutions will have another roll of the dice with £5-10m at 30p ish.

Number 2. Number 1 is will they really genuinely be able to commercialise anything before they have squandered all the cash that the institutions have given them.

Can you seriously imagine these lot to issue a profit warning ?
They have no understanding or sense of obligation or accountability

It is also fairly well known that companies that spend a decent percentage on R&D and continue to innovate as a group outperform the market. There is little doubt we are continuing to under-perform but there has not been a single revenue (profit) warning in this financial period. Businesses are about people more than the product. Do you trust and believe in the abilities of the Chairman, the Board and the employees? That is the real question to ask.
