In Parliament the n / s for strategic investments

On Tuesday, November 23, the bill on strategic investments and the acceleration of procedures in the wider investment environment will be submitted to the Parliament for a vote . The bill ensures the necessary legal clarity and creates more attractive conditions for potential strategic investors.

According to the Ministry of Development, the bill includes new categories of strategic investments in modern sectors of the economy. Promotes research and development, biotechnology, robotics, artificial intelligence, space industry, digital business transformation, cloud computing, data centers, permanent film production facilities (studios), medical tourism, agri-food, waste and waste management, Business Parks and Major Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEIs).

It makes it easier to characterize an investment as a strategy as the required financial figures are reduced. New capital incentives are introduced in special investment categories. At the same time, the licensing and control procedures for the implementation of strategic investments are accelerated by outsourcing monitoring to private entities. A new category of Strategic Investments is introduced under the title "Emblematic Investments of Extraordinary Importance" related to the resources of the Recovery Fund. Also, more favorable regulations are applied for the investments that are implemented in areas that are part of the Territorial Plans for Fair Development Transition, in order to maximize the investment development of the specific areas.

Regarding private investments, by amending the current Development Law 4399/2016, substantial improvement interventions are promoted in the investment evaluation and control procedures in order to make them faster and more efficient. The bodies from which the members of the Evaluation Committees will come are expanded, involving more certified auditors coming from the market and specific deadlines are set for the evaluation and control of the implementation of the investment plans.

With this bill, Greece consolidates its position as an attractive investment destination.

Oh clock, pumper! It’s making people who vaguely remember Minoan as a great investment at 7/8p that traded it at that time,is still here after all these years under 1p.
It’s a great risk/reward from here.
I’ve got friends and followers that have asked me today how far we are off and how confident I am?
I would like to think some of them have added today.
To sum up I don’t call AIM detective or myself as P&D merchants, I suspect certain investors were grateful for the early heads up.

An interesting situation again in that we know something that's 'price' sensitive is coming, and it's 'public' knowledge as it's on the Greek govt website, but most of the market won't be aware of it (unless you read this BB) until the company RNS something, which is unlikely to happen until it's on the statutes.

Greek parliament shuts for Xmas
That would be very helpful.

I speculate that the loan extension will be confirmed after this has gone through.

It is encouraging that we are still on the road but realistically when the board can

More significantly it should open the door for a loan extension and a deal to be done. This really is MIN’s best chance to cross the line IMHO.

Thanks Waterloo, think someone said the winter break was early December?Not sure it's a cure all, Clocktower is right to remind us the loan needs sorting first, but if we get a bit of momentum from this 'news', we might see the shareprice back at 1p+, which would obviously help raising the necessary funds.

Encouraging to see it filed at last. Looking at the narrow legislative column above, and the main info, reads to me like there's still 'editing in committee' which will be next, followed by debates and voting.Hopefully all done before the winter break but it is probably going to be tight.
