Damp Squid Announcement

Announcement accurately predicted by share price movement .
Classical announcement more delays zero information.

How long will it take to complete ?

If there's no RNS there is no way I'm looking at this board as I know PJ will be negative.

And will now focus on travel

Only joking :))I hope..

Was just discussing this elsewhere Waterloo, interesting points.

They wouldn't take the travel business as settlement if they wanted on demand payment in my view - they'd want a chunk of CS. Why? Because these millions of warrants will only become worth something when CS makes real progress, as the share price should eventually benefit, bringing their warrants into play. I believe I read that as long as MIN have over 50% of CS (happy to be corrected, as ever) there is no 'poison pill' as you call it.

in fairness i think another extension is more likely though, if we don't get sale news within the next few trading days

Any white knights in evidence. A little incense from the mid-East maybe? It seems everyone, including CE, Zachary, Stewart, shareholders et al are in limbo (or is it purgatory?)

Zachary can't call in the loan (on which they have history, see 'shaftsinkers') as they would only end up with the T&L business, all warrants out the money and no hands on Crete (is a poison pill in the contract to stop that happening, it just reverts IMO).

CE doesn't seem able to sell T&L nor raise enough equity to match the gap if it were sold.

Crete is 'all Greek'and nothing happens without someones palm being 'Greeced' or someones back being put out.

Come on CE, go out in a blaze of glory!

Gill, these are your thoughts too? Just conscious to show to everyone (and newbies) that there are a number of options just need to see which one is taken forward.

I mean the value of the land is 70million plus remember and so a Greek bank should be able to lend against that.

I'm hoping though that the BoD instead have secured a bridging loan from a Greek bank if it was necessary to pay Hillside/Zachary off and the T&L sale is still concluding or major investor still negotiating.

Wonder how many warrants and at what price Zachary will get this time?

Very Good Pj that sounds like a c e
RNs

Yes it is reasonable to assume the travel
Sale is still ongoing and that The loan
Is not going to be called in.

The lack of movement on the share price suggests
No big news is coming.

What's the betting we get similar to this-

'' In this coming period I believe that we will conclude the sale of the T&L business and thus take forward a substantially debt free Group that will deliver long awaited value to stakeholders by concentrating on maximising the value of the Project ''

Well they surely would have needed to RNS a fall through of the travel business, if Hillside wanted to call in they could have done it any time so what's next?

I'm willing the Board on to prove me wrong and make me eat humble pie. I want them to deliver on the promise of CS and create wealth not just for us, but for the people of Crete. Next couple of working days hopefully we'll know if they've been able to deliver or not.

I think that's what many people are thinking, worst case there has to be a RNS on Monday absolute latest and that's it really anything can happen between now and then.
