scotty1/ Other than saying that it is an investing colleague I do not feel it right to elaborate more than that. As far as I know he/she has no business dealings with Minoan.

It might not be Hillside though, misread that

IF (very doubful) Hilside called the loan in, then wouldn't they have first call on the asset? Obv at a silly low price as always.

However, I would have thought any finance agreement would have prevented any such ''flipping'' as surely that would be a conflict of interest?

Im no expert on this though

Well Hillside will make a fortune, there's those warrants, 10% since last year they will want to maximise, don't blame them to be honest!

I'd hazard that the perceived negative comments are in reality very close to the facts, I would further propose the possibility that Hillside, or a 3rd party, are attempting to flip the Travel agency onto an unknown purchaser at an easy profit to themselves, which again would explain the prolonged negotiation.

Not actually my wording but copied from an email I received today

Dead right dazah it's a leaky ship we all know that. Only small sells from weak holders over last few weeks and mm's do their worst at every opportunity, nothing new there.

If the Stewart Travel sale has fallen through we would of had to be informed therefore everything still moving forward imo albeit slowly “the Minoan way”
==================================================================================
I disagree, THE original sale fell through, but agree that it should have been RNS'd. The only reason for the lack of any detail in the last RNS is because the original ''due diligence'' resulted in no sale and the purchaser walked away. That should have been RNS'd and wasn't, which obviously opens up other questions.

I would guess they have since found another prospective purchaser, hence the further delays.

Nothing else would explain the painful time taken to complete such a basic transaction

All IMO

Agreed iman, and the fact that there's been no big selling pressure over the last few weeks supports that, other than some nervous nellies shaving a few off as a hedge.

They never RNS'd the due diligence had ended with no deal either, so I wouldn't hold your hat on that the T&L sale is still on. It looks to me like they need to employ a proper agent to sell it for them.

If a serious purchaser was around then they would want to complete within a short time frame as they saw opportunity, not delay it like this.

Come on, when you put an offer in for a house you push to complete as asap?

I know nothing .There is endless speculation and rumour but until we get that rns we can only assume they are still talking.

At no stage have they announced that the travel sale has been aborted nor have they
Announced that a deal has been signed.

All the rumour and speculation has been discussed on these boards.
Surely everyone agrees there must be an update by Friday of this week.

atlantic- IF there had been 'progress' then we would have had an RNS to that effect. As far as I am aware we haven't had one....

So the 'fact' is there has been no progress?

Unless you know more than me..?

Pj1. We don't know anything yet until Board tell us.
Once we get an rns we can all comment on the facts .
