He might need to get the 🥃 out tonight, and he's originally had a big holding and added alot after the fall several months ago.

I see that pile of dog poo Atlantic Lithium ALL (a favourite of Pete Higgins) going down like a sunken ship.

The twitter crowd were over this like a rash not long ago but it was obvious to me ages ago that this would disappoint investors. These sorts of shares always do. Some investors will never learn..

When you see in the forward looking statement that major customers are cancelling and delaying contracts. You know the next load of figures are going majorly worse, and only one way the share price is going to go over the next year or so. May as well salvage something and start planning a replacement position..

Painful but selling and moving funds probably the right thing to do. Sorry about that..

I see Superdry in trouble too. Once a stock market darling.

I've sold out of ETP, and taken 77% loss. The forward looking statement looks shocking, and I can only see the share price drifting further. I may as well put the funds elsewhere..

A very long winded RNS from ETP blaming government new scheme being responsible from clients project delays. This has been a disaster of a investment for me.

Gosh, just seen that news..

No consolation though to long-term investors when it floated at 156p and spent a good few years trading well north of that..

2.35p a share seems a bargain..

Thats two announced bids today maybe, at last, bid activity is starting to pick-up once again. Lets hope so...

Lord Lee lost 250k once, on a publishing company, and lost a packet on HMV as well, at least he's honest enough to admit it.

What i really like about Mark Atkinson is the honesty and integrity he has. He's not afraid of saying which stock he owns and when and how much he paid for it.
The only other investor i know with the same honesty who says what he buys/sells and what prices he buys/sells at is Lord Lee.

Think I remember BB said he owned it...

Nobody avoiding these profit warnings this year.

Greggs, one i would love to hold. Don't know how the hell i missed not investing as i have been a big fan of their sausage rolls for years..

Takeover of Instem. Not one i hold or would ever think about holding but encouraging that bids with high premiums are still coming in for UK companies.

Still waiting for one of mine to be be bid for..

Didn't realise this world biggest wind farm project has just started. I thought it was being built next year, bonus for TGP...

Dogger Bank Wind Farm - the worlds largest offshore wind farm has begun construction in the last few weeks.

277 turbines (each one twice as high as the London Eye). Will power six million uk homes. Three year construction phase. Costing £9bn.

And Tekmar has the contract to design, manufacture and supply all the Cable Protection Systems.

I see one of the Lander brothers has died at Volvere, (one of rivaldo's) and a company i used to own myself many years ago. I wonder what will happen there now.

PTRO delisting. Sadly you are going to see more and more leave the markets.

Yep Tesco is a stock i've been looking at more closely in recent times. On valuation grounds it's cheap.

I also quite like Sainsbury's. Low PE, high dividend also. As supermarkets go i think i prefer Tesco but what i like about Sainsbury is the fact it owns Argos. Some people say it's a distraction and it could be construed as such but to me Argos is the only real serious UK competitor to Amazon that can give them a run for their money, so it should do well for Sainsbury.

MKS has never been a stock ive been interested, id like to buy Tesco though.

Held morrisons before they were taken over.

Don't currently hold grocer in the portfolio, but Tesco is high up on my buy list. But I do hold two companies that a related to supermarkets kitw and SUPR.

It baffles me as to why all the CR crowd are so enamoured by MKS.
Why is the latest CEO any better than all the past ones? He doesn't possess a magic wand.

It has two main divisions that can't go anywhere. It's clothing division has the "old-fogies" stigma hanging over it that no CEO will ever shift. "Fashion" and "young" just never seems to fit with their image.

The food division, well i mean ok they sell some nice stuff but it is often expensive and hence only attracts the well-off middle classes which as a societal group is rapidly dwindling in an age of Aldi's and food banks..

Re the UK market: I see Richard Buxton stepping down after 40 years in the industry. He is saying the UK market is in a "sorry state".
