Trading teams across Barclays, NatWest Markets and JP Morgan are also preparing by extending working hours and bringing in extra staff to deal with major market moves after parliament votes on Theresa May’s Brexit withdrawal deal next Tuesday. It was also reported that Lloyds plans to move £9.75 from its investment bank client a/c offshore in its own preparation. ;) | ![]() alphorn
06/12/2018 23:19 | Stoned - according to your flawed logic you will no longer comment on any place south of the Isle of Wight. Restrict yourself to your home town which is probably Crackpot in North Yorkshire. Sounds about right. A fruit and nut first class. | ![]() alphorn

06/12/2018 22:39 | Peter Posted December 6, 2018 at 1:20 pm | Permalink There must be lots of behind the scenes plotting and politicking which the general public will not hear about for a while. So we await new developments and the verdict on the Withdrawal Agreement. In the meantime, I wonder if the Prime Ministers actions could be construed as criminal? Deception and duplicitous behaviour are probably not crimes just the base side of politics. Withholding advice is merely ‘contempt̵ | ![]() xxxxxy

Once the new experiences are tasted and embraced with confidence there will be no wanting to go back to the Beggars of the EU which has morphed into the EUSSR. Good-bye to Animal Farm of the EUSSR and all that. Happy cherry picking. | ![]() xxxxxy
06/12/2018 22:34 | The Peter Principle: workers in a hierarchical structure get promoted to the level at which they are incompetent and stay at that level for the rest of their careers. Daily, almost hourly, the news coming from Westminster and Downing Street gets harder and harder to believe. This idiot woman has no idea, no idea at all. | ![]() grahamite2
06/12/2018 22:17 | Europe is in real trouble with the anti-establishment mobs in France causing havoc and showing little sign of giving way. Of course, a lot of French people are not impressed by the mobs, but with 21% youth unemployment its little surprise that discontent is spreading. Never mind some companies saying that they're THINKING of moving to mainland Europe, and some saying that they're moving SOME staff over there, I certainly would steer clear of the place. | ![]() poikka
