"What will it be bothers me!"

I wouldn't worry about it too much GNR. The price for a punnet of strawberries at Aldi isn't going to change that much regardless of what he asks for.

"irrelevant amendments"

That is only your opinion, of course.

Corbyn in Downing Street this am to discuss "a reasonable time frame to further debate" the passed deal! This will give him the chance to tinker at the edges with some irrelevant amendments! What will it be bothers me!

Minerve,

Well done Scotland we have invented a renewable energy solution power station not connected to anything .

There was me thinking it was designed to pump water back at un peak times at a lower cost .
And to help generate electricity in peak demands times during the day / evening .
I recall the Scottish power engineer saying , it came into its own during the adverts in Cornation street or during the football lol

Doctors hail first drug to ‘slow down’ Alzheimer’s

Tom Whipple, Science Editor
October 22 2019, 5:00pm,
The Times

Doctors have welcomed a “turning point” in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease after the development of a drug apparently able to slow the condition if it is caught in its earliest stages.

It would be the first effective treatment for the biggest single cause of dementia, validating billions of pounds of research and decades of work.

Biogen’s drug, aducanumab, would also be one of the most stunning reversals in the history of pharmaceutical development. Like several similar products, it had originally failed in trials.

Johnson can't ask for a short delay because that puts him in contempt of court wrt Padfield.

The Benn Act - which still applies - is absolutely clear that he has to ask for and accept an extension to at least the end of January.

If he doesn't Cherry, Maugham, et al will literally be on his case immediately.

Any why not? They already own lots of London.

#294. That post really highlights how many people look at the wrapper and not what they are actually buying. It has always been like that - marketing.

Much of the UK has already been sold. A cash cow for foreign wealth funds and the like.

gnr - why limit to Scapa Flow and Labour. Much of the UK is up for sale.

The irony of your post is that Labour would be the only party to protect those assets and nationalise them. Did you mean that? I hope not!
