Hi,

Voting results in House of Commons were much as expected. The twist at the end was deciding to pause the Bill rather than pull the Bill.

Waiting for the EU to decide what it does next ramps up more pressure on Members of Parliament. If the EU extend the October 31st date by a few months I expect behind the scenes activity to suspend the Fixed Term Parliament Act. The SNP would agree to support the Government to do just that.

If the EU refuse to extend deadline The Withdrawal Bill would come back to Parliament and get through before 31st October.

This is high stakes politics. Under normal circumstances the Withdrawal Act would have been so amended had it gone forward we would have been right back where we started in 2016.

A General Election may well be the only way to left to resolve this issue and put the matter to rest. As a Remainer I might not like the result but this has to be sorted.

The dynamic has changed, tables turned. Boris in a position of strength for the first time. Watch Barnier, Tusk, Juncker and Verhof get tetchy now, that's if they give any interviews at all. Penny won't have dropped with many in the meeja yet, with BBC it probably never will lol.

Of course, some could be forgiven as they're so old they'd probably forgotten that they'd already seen most of the Bill.

No deal still on and time running out. Heat now on the EU. How many of them want an extension? Are they united? Are there any waverers? Talk to them Boris now that you have won a majority for your deal in the House, real gamechanger. HofC on the back foot, Bercow back in his box. It only needs one member state to veto the extension he doesn't want. Other aces up his sleeve still. Leave on Halloween with no deal yeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaah, with apologies to stonedyou lol. Cliff edge coming aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhggggggggggggggg.

AZ209

I hardly ever alter my posts. Sometimes I go too far in my comments when looked upon retrospectively, I apologise to the poster when I believe it is warranted, and then I edit the post.

Having said that, what I don’t do is go back and alter posts in an attempt to spin an argument.I have no need to spin. Unlike you I also don’t feel the need to have multiple aliases. Where have you been for months AZ209, or should I refer to you as mm2. ;)

What a pathetic moron you are.
