The grant of UK extension requires all member states to agree, so BoJo could theoretically try get the EU to reject UK’s Extension as an effective method to achieve his ’no-deal’; Brexit outcome by 31st. By collaborating with a dissident EU leader and encouraging him/her to decline their grant of Extension and thus undermine member countries’ required unanimity.

What chance we go through the same palawa with general election...the Party that loses by a slimmer margin will not accept defeat...voters who did the voting just like the Referendum...

I actually truly believe a deal or no Deal makes no difference. Either leads to the UK leaving and a free trade deal anyway.

The timetable came from the EU, not the UK. The UK asked for an extension to 30th June, to which the EU came back with 31st October (the last day before the new European Parliament, President and Commissioners take over).

And didn't the Tories use the time well. About 3 months for Tory infighting. One month of holiday. One month of posturing.

Anything is possible.. I agree. Boris after winning the vote is now free to end Brexit on 31st without a deal or with this deal without the agreement of the useless lot.

But no deal as likely as a deal. Anything is possible now apart from a customs union agreement or no Brexit .

Why have the entire world think you are a nation of morons when you can vote Brexit through and remove all doubt?

Johnson has not "won the backing of MPs for his Brexit deal". The House voted to move to the next stage of detailed discussion of the Bill. But there will be attempts to amend the Bill, on both the major points that have already been announced and, probably, on points of detail. It is possible that the Bill which is eventually voted on at third reading could be substantially different from the current version.

ROFLMAO!

Clever voting tonight by some. ;)

Ooh, so parliament can amend the deal. Well, of course as a minimum we need to be in the customs union and the single market legally enshrined so as not to damage trading with our largest and closest market. Then their are the environmental standards and working peoples rights too.
