Careful - "Someone posted a picture of Dominic Cummings.

At a glance we would all agree he does not look the sort that you wold buy a used car from."

Appearances can be deceptive, careful, for all we know, a certain Remoaner politician gets shagged by a rent boy twice a week while wearing his wife's crutchless knickers, and posts anonymously on ADVFN under the moniker Minerve.

I have absolutely no evidence that that's the case, but you get my drift - maybe..

Martin Schulz calls for a United States of EuropeBy JOHNREDWOOD | Published: AUGUST 4, 2019The former leader of Germany's SPD (Labour party) and possible candidate for Chancellor of Germany  has called for a federal Europe and the  exit from the EU of any country refusing to ratify the Union treaty needed.Perhaps those Remain advocates who said there was no such plan may like to comment, given similar ideas from the President of France.

Odey has been shorting for decades.

But not as long as xxxxy been repeating about writing on walls .

Do you think at school he got a lot of lines to do from teachers.

Odey has been shorting for decades?

OK, maybe, maybe not, but this time he is shorting and seemingly in ‘the circle’ with Boris sufficiently enough that it should pique interest and/or raise eyebrows.

Grahamite2 just blindly defends the position. This attitude is why you haven’t got anywhere in life grahamite. It is obvious that you haven’t. Stop trying to defend the indefensible, it shows you are stupid and more intelligent folk can see right through you.;)

Indeed excel, it's nonsense like that that forces one to think careful is just trolling.

We should never forget that John Major's eurofanaticism made him reduce thousands of people to beggary through negative equity, as well as making the Conservative Party unelectable for many, many years.

Someone posted a picture of Dominic Cummings.

At a glance we would all agree he does not look the sort that you wold buy a used car from.

...but then he did come up with 'taking back control'. (as if we had ever lost it)
Cummings is in because he can manipulate the mob, he knows how to bamboozle stupid gullible people, and there are millions them.

Cummings will succeed where experienced heavyweights who understand the complexities of high office fail;

Blair, Brown, Heseltine, Carney, Major, Clarke...these are people you should listened to, they are at the end of their careers and are warning you of catastrophe.

...yet you listen to the likes of Cummings. Study his picture, dig deep and use your instinct, would you let your daughter marry him, would you buy a car from him?

Wake up before it is too late.

Of course there are examples of corruption, both in the EU. and here in the UK.
But the EU. is relatively honest.

'you could write a book'.

I wish you would write a book on it after doing some research, and contrast and compare with the uk.
I would enjoy reading it.

You could write a book on how dangerous it is?
That would be in the comedy section of the library's fiction section.

Apologies for bringing the conversation back to Lloyds.
Will the market ever come to realise that when PPI claims finish there will be a lot of extra money dropping into the bottom line. I always thought share prices reflected future prospects!

Give an example of how the EU.is corrupt?
How is it dangerous?
Grossly inefficient?

You could write a book on that little lot. But as I haven't time for that, how about...Edith Cresson? One name that sums the EU up.

I wish you would give examples on your main points;

Give an example of how the EU.is corrupt?
How is it dangerous?
Grossly inefficient?

These name calling accusations are meaningless unless you give some examples.

Brexiteers seem to be ignorant of the facts, even though they have had more than 3 years to learn.
And there are millions of you.
During the referendum, for a short brief time, there were more Brexiteers than remainers.
most were hoping for a great trade deal.

the point is this..
while No Deal is discussed openly and with all expresssing their views, dodgy or otherwise, the same does not apply to the Remainer's main argument....i.e. that we should stay in the corrupt, dangerous and grossly inhumanly inefficient EU.

Not discussed anywhere in the Meeja ever..

That should disturb the thoughtful among you.
The others will just rant on and swear and cuss until someone ,bigger and faster, has a view about whether their lights should be on or off.

and the ST narrative has always been remain,Graham.

Crispin Odey is not an OE.

He has been known for his bearish views for years, nothing to do with our leaving the EU or the manner of it.

But the likes of The Sunday Times or careful would never let the truth get in the way of the narrative they want to push.

The post-Brexit ‘trade deal’ you weren’t told about
For a ‘no deal’ Brexit, the Government announced zero tariffs on 87% of all imports

What does this mean to the average member of the public?
In the event that the UK leaves the EU on 31 October 2019 on WTO terms, the vast majority of goods imported by the UK from either the EU or the rest of the world will not be subject to any tariffs, meaning prices will be able to fall in most cases of non-EU imports and will stay the same for most cases of EU imports as they were tariff-free anyway.

'Forget Brexit, what kind of EU did Remain MPs vote to Remain in?
Are they happy to make you pay an extra £1.2 bn for another “Off-Budget” EU Fund?

Brexit Facts4EU.Org challenges Remain MPs to defend their EU
Here we give one example of another “off-budget” EU Fund that Remain MPs probably aren’t even aware of, but must justify.

Brexit Facts4EU.Org has published detailed research on the EU for years. A small part of this research has involved “off-budget” EU funds, set up to disguise the true costs of EU membership, and to get around the treaties.

£1.2 billion extra for the EU, under EU plans
One small part of the EU Commission’s plans involves the creation of yet another “off-budget” EU Fund. It comes in at a cool €10.5 billion euros. As one of the largest contributors to the EU, this would mean around £1.2 billion extra pounds for the UK taxpayer to find. And this sum will never appear in the Treasury’s official declarations of “the UK’s net contributions to the EU”, because it does not form part of the official EU budget.

As with so many EU projects, this new fund has been given an innocuous-sounding name: “The European Peace Facility” (EPF). In reality this is about building up the EU’s military forces under the EU Defence Union.

Here is what the EU says about this new “Off-Budget” Fund
“By proposing a new European Peace Facility (EPF) the European Union is taking another step towards cementing its role as a global actor.

“The EPF is a proposal by the High Representative [currently Italian former Communist Federica Mogherini] to set up a new off-budget fund, a fund outside of the Union’s multi-annual budget, worth €10.5 billion.

“It will enable the financing of operational actions under the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) that have military or defence implications. It will draw together existing off-budget mechanisms, namely the Athena mechanism or the African Peace Facility, devoted to security and defence, overcoming their gaps and limitations.”

- EPD document from European External Action Service, EU Commission, accessed 04 August 2019

US senators back a British trade deal

Forty-five Republicans have pledged support for Boris Johnson, whether or not he signs a Brexit agreement with the EU

A group of 45 American senators have signed a letter to Boris Johnson pledging to back a trade deal with Britain whether or not the UK leaves the EU with a deal.

In an unprecedented show of support for the new prime minister, the Republican senators say they will come to Britain’s aid if Johnson is forced to leave with no deal.

They also vow to maintain full co-operation on intelligence through the “Five Eyes” alliance — also including Australia, Canada and New Zealand — and Nato.

The letter, put together by Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas, congratulates Johnson on his election as leader and compares him to his hero Winston Churchill, urging him to “roar” for Britain as Churchill did during the Second World…
