02/8/2019 10:05 | parliament voted AGAINST No Deal. Remember??????? LOL | minerve 2
02/8/2019 10:04 | Referendum is only answer and it should be No Deal vs Remain. We can then get on to voting for the party we want on the more important issues rather than worrying about olive skin counts in Mansfield. | minerve 2
02/8/2019 10:02 | @careful... There are approx 40 Labour MPs who will vote against their own party on brexit. Not so clear-cut as it seems. | pawsche
02/8/2019 09:56 | A majority of 1 is useless. Just one bitter, angry, anti Boris, Tory switching his vote will stop everything. Maybe one who is about to retire or be deselected. Boris Johnson has no power, nothing will get through. An election will have to be called. What a shambles that will be. Giving the general public yet another democratic vote, it will lead to chaos unless one party get a clear majority. Unlikely. | careful
02/8/2019 09:33 | can't wait for the 1.12p divi, I can dine out on mcdonalds - at least RBS is paying a decent divi so it'll be fish 'n chips for a week :) | likeawalrus
02/8/2019 09:33 | Back in at 52p. Could drop more but happy with my buy at this price. Sit on them now and wait! | maxidi
02/8/2019 09:13 | Looking like a great entry time, been a while :-) | squire007
02/8/2019 09:02 | I think Lloyds should have to pay compensation for the removal of the ppi claim facility. | shy tott
02/8/2019 08:58 | Soon a hotline once the original PPI deadline is over... | diku
02/8/2019 08:55 | Where do we claim? | maxk
02/8/2019 08:55 | Thankfully Poikka, Labour can't get rid of Corbyn that easily under their current rules. No matter how unpopular he is with fellow MPs and the general public, the party members including 'momentum' are likely to keep him as leader. Good news for Boris particularly in some marginal seats, especially if the Brexit party doesn't offer candidates. | cheshire pete
02/8/2019 08:54 | The price targets serves no purpose...it is just another mis selling in a round about way... | diku
02/8/2019 08:53 | Got my 52p target, but with the market looking very toppy indeed, who knows where Lloyds is going. Flogged quite a few shares last week, but clinging on to LLOY. | poikka
02/8/2019 08:50 | It hit 51.8 as soon as you posted that Pawsche. | bargainbob
02/8/2019 08:48 | Re Brecon... As all the "anti-brexit" parties declined to put up a candidate in order to bolster the Lib Dems, it's interesting to note that the "pro-brexit" parties received more votes than the antis. It's a message to Boris that he needs to form an alliance with the Brexit Party should a General Election occur. Re LLoyds... I see that Berenberg has cut its target price from 60 to 55, precipitating a drop in share price from 52.8 to 51.8..!!?? I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone in their right mind takes the slightest notice of predicted "target" prices - they seem to have all the scientific and economic rigour and accuracy that is normally achieved by examining the entrails of goats. | pawsche
02/8/2019 08:43 | Dow was down again yesterday and Carney said blah blah blah blah no deal Brexit...so FTSE down this morning?... | diku
02/8/2019 08:42 | Somewhere on the canvas. Trump's tariff hike on $300bn of Chinese goods sends markets tumbling and draws Beijing ire Telegraph | xxxxxy
02/8/2019 08:30 | Diku - "The Ipsos MORI survey found 62 per cent of Britons now believe Labour should replace him (JC) before the country next goes to the polls, which could be within months, compared with 55 per cent a year ago." Great, just got to convince the unions vote, and be sure that little Mac doesn't get elected in his place. | poikka
02/8/2019 08:15 | And a by the way. Plaid Cymru has ceased tobe the Welsh Nationalist Party. No candidate. No Vote. | xxxxxy
02/8/2019 08:13 | As the world is at risk to enter recession, smart investment will try to preserve the value... Gold and good gold producers are good place to be Let's see if SHG can jump up today or Monday 😊... Whilst waiting for Lloy to hit the bottom... | 338
02/8/2019 08:09 | Extension not going to happen.Brecon was lost, but again showed the majority is for Brexit. If those figures are ignored again then the Con party will effectively cease to exist at a GE. Facts are facts. Extension will not make Brexit go away, but it will kill the Con party.Ditto Labour. | xxxxxy
02/8/2019 08:05 | Oh dear, just keeps dropping. | mikemichael2 |
