Spot on Cheshire, that's what the Brexiters love to do - control other peoples' lives. Not content to just live their own.

From what I hear, he certainly doesn't like stab-proof pants...

But that's just rumour, I know nothing.

So the ultra-useless excuse for a Mayor of London says that wearing of masks should be compulsory, but that's socialism for you.

Do they work against coronavirus? Evidence says mostly no, their alleged benefits are probably outweighed by the negatives; add freedom of choice and need to avoid big state to that, and the answer is that they're not a good idea for Joe Public.

Here's the BBC take on it:

Alps - "Excell - Porton Down researches fragrances I suppose?"

If you're comparing the UK to China...I think it's time that you went into Room 101 along with M2.

excell1 - I'm not usually given to conspiracy theories, but if. for example, China had a ready cure.....

Whatever, I read that Dominic Raab is saying, this evening, that the matter of just how the virus was allowed to spread so readily will have to be addressed, and basically that things will never be the same again.

Probably, the least that can be said is that this is a massive own goal for China and does no end of harm to the one-party secretive state model, which is great news for Chinese people and the 'free world'.

Russia next?

Who's to say that the virus didn't come from Chinese bats but from a Chinese Lab.
They are not exactly going to tell us about their research into germ warfare.

Markets still too high.
A FTSE100 of about 4000 would seem right.
Maybe we will get theree.

Think of the surprise advantage of the virus lockdown.
As Brexit takes hold with the dire consequences of falling out with our largest trading partner effects peoples lives.
Brexiteers will be able to blame the virus for years to come.

tricky - "...a reduction in size of the EU flag to about that of a ladies handkerchief?"

Very appropriate, or a thong - made in Germany, of course.
