17/4/2020 16:36 | Roche will propose a new Covid-19 serological test. The Swiss laboratory will make available in early May a new serological test, Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2, which can identify antibodies in patients exposed to the virus. This detection can indicate whether the person concerned has developed immunity or not. Roche says the test will be available in countries accepting CE marking, while discussions are ongoing with the FDA in the United States. At least Trump should help with the FDA! | alphorn
17/4/2020 16:36 | Why no vaccine for the common cold? Because there is far more money to be made selling Lemsip and Benylin. Symptom relief can be sold every time but a prevention only once. | alicat1

17/4/2020 15:49 | Now here is potentially exciting Swiss news - Roche is hoping to have approval for next month; both a CE and US approval. Roche develops new serology test to detect COVID-19 antibodies. Potentially very exciting; one to follow. Here is a media release: edit: Roche of course is not some tin pot organisation. | alphorn

17/4/2020 15:24 | The government are happy to continue with infecting and killing. Their policy is at odds with the moral values of the society it is supposed to represent. I still strongly believe that Brexit being seen as a success via the proxy of a strong economy (vs Europe) is priority over life. The lockdown is happening just to soften repercussions from going against those moral values. | minerve 2
17/4/2020 15:21 | "Stop dying..it's a mild infection, you might not even know if you had it, even when it kills you!" ROFLMAO! | minerve 2
