Sorry chaps, I know I'm going to get told off. I've offloaded a small tranche today. The silence is deafening. I don't doubt progress is made but I do not like being kept in the dark.Frog

The death etc. was rightly condemned and I don't think that the new board would take that route again.

"A murky and perplexing rabbit hole, the AIM regulations" - I don't think this particular "rule" could justifiably be called a "rule".

Frog, I'd be more doubtful about the comms if I saw no improvement. As was mentioned the other day, 3m updates were asked for and now those are supplied with a specific timescale.

Since the contractor accident we have been getting LTI rates at the start of every update. A clear sign that the company listens and responds.

No company is perfect from day one, if they were there would be no investment opportunity.

The question hinges on whether you believe that the Roan plant upgrade constitutes a “major new development” that may lead to a substantial share price movement? Jubilee already guided what is happening and the forward looking year end tonnage increases, so is this really a “new development”.

Conversely, you could argued that any delay of the Roan plant upgrade is a “change in expectation of performance” likely to “lead to a substantial”…(negative) “share price movement”. So should that also not be notified?

A murky and perplexing rabbit hole, the AIM regulations.

Hi WYK, I hate to bring this up but we were not told in a timely fashion about the death, water, and power issues.

You could equally say that there are no problems with the commissioning of Roan which would affect the predicted outcome.

Isn't that rule pretty much unenforceable? It's full of if's, maybes, likely, without delay etc.. Generally subjective with no specific timescale. However I would agree with Ade that if the wheels had come off big time we'd be more likely to have been told already as opposed to it will be working OK (even if it takes a bit longer). If that's what Ade was alluding to, apologies if I've put words in your mouth Ade.

I believe Ade's point is that Roan is clearly not running yet, or it would have been announced.

The key Listing Rules affecting business updates are in the box "Key UK Listing Rule obligations". In summary, issuers must notify without delay major new developments that may affect their business if the development may lead to a substantial share price movement. Issuers must also notify without delay information concerning a change in financial condition, performance or expectation of performance if the change would be likely to lead to a substantial share price movement.

It looks to me that production is being set up to beat all time highs.. Across the board. I think the question should be.. How much above the previous high the share price will go? Simplywall.st: Their estimate of fair value is currently 34p.. And that’s before the ramp up in production. Don’t panic.
